same thing here. i cant even load saved games that I saved after the patch when creating a new game!
I crashed a couple times before 1.1 but not that much...haven't crashed once since 1.1. Could be random chance who knows.
Totally bad idea. Getting kills should be a big perk. If you don't want the enemy to get too far ahead in gold than don't die so much...I mean not dying is even more important than getting kills in this game. I especially like how people get money for assists as well.
I don't mind helping new players along... That being said if you join a game that says 'no newbs' 'pro only' etc and blow don't expect to get respectful treament [e digicons]O:)[/e] Also I expect the people on my team to actually know the basic concept of the game. Please don't open up the box, install the game having no idea what a 'demigod' actually is, and jump into the first online match asking all sorts of dumb questions. I give those guys props for being able to get to war rank 10 first...I mean what on earth were you guys doing? You dominated them in kills/deaths, you should have dominated them in flags. It's not just a situation where they saved their money for giants. You even said they got war rank 10 first...that means they kept more flags and for longer than your team. If you look at the details of the game list of that guy...almost all the opposing team in his games have 5 favor. That's usually the amount you get for a disconnect. I mean I looked at like the first 20 games on that list and not one person on the opposing team has more than 10 favor gained...LOL! That means that not one person did jack shit in all those games. Ok...so intentional is an uneven DOMINATE game?? Hell on conquest I might even have a shot at winning 2v3 with a computer ally...I mean it would be very difficult of course but at least *possible* on a Dominate game it's just a matter of having more bodies to run around capping flags. Oh well, I guess Pantheon won't be for me than. Still a great game though don't get me wrong! I'm loving it.
So my buddies didn't log on last night so I went to roll some Pantheon battles... 1st Game: I sit at the loading screen for over 5 minutes before deciding to atl tab and close it down. I checked later and received a loss for this. LoL? 2nd Game: Game loads in 2v3 (I'm on 2 side) on a dominate game type. My teammate immediately leaves. I decide oh well I'll play it out. I go 16-1 and end up gaining 110 Favor in the LOSS. 1v3 vs players...GG 3rd Game: Game takes forever
Hey I'm an older gamer been doing the online thing for years as well...I hate to say it but SO WHAT? If some random guy who you don't even know texts you in a game that you are horrible or whatever just grow some thicker skin man. I mean if someone I know and respect and have been gaming with for a while tells me I'm garbage and to quit or whatever I would probably get upset but some random douche in a random pug group? Same problem here too along with my buddy I'm on vent with. Both of us crashed and now can not log in due to invalid username/password....STUPID
nevermind it appears I *can* d/l it with just the cd key I got in the retail package...lol I hope THIS works.
I *already* bought this game (the retail version). I can only RETURN IT for another copy of the damn game. Now I'm supposed to pay $45 to download it? Or is there someway to download it for free because I have the retail version and CD Key ? (BTW the download is more expensive than the retail version in the stores...?) I would have no problem downloading the game..(I do have a high speed connection) but I just paid $40 for the game from EB and I'm not about to pay another $40 or whatever to download it...the game looks very good, but I'm not about to spend $80 on it. BTW Did a scandisk on each drive and no errors at all.
Ok it copied to the HD fine...tried to install it from there, but I got the same I/O error. This really sucks.
OK I've got the same exact error when I purchased my copy from EB yesterday. I was dying to play the game and couldn't make it back to the store till today (I was quite upset I couldn't play last night *boo*) and I didn't post anything on the board or anything because I assumed it was a faulty disk.
