It is coming nicely. It's being beta tested right now. I'm hesitent to keep setting dates, but "soon" is a good bet. :)

You CAN use a single computer to play a game with multiple people via the debug commands. Simply start your game as normal, play your turn and use the debug commands to switch to another civ and let your friend(s) have their turn, and so on. Not good for competitive people vs. people play, but should work for coop vs. ai, if a little messy. Technically could be done via email or a VNC too i suppose.
It is indeed getting close to time. You should expect to see something at the end of this week :). Cross your fingers. Beta testing begins today and tomorrow.
OK guys, it's almost here. HRGM2 for Twilight of the Arnor will be released within the week (i hope). Keep an eye out for it! I'll be starting a new thread devoted just to it. So keep those eyes peeled!
The option to change your resolution is under OPTIONS > VIDEO > Video Options > Reolution. You adjust it by clicking on the arrows. However, you can only adjust the resolution to your monitor's maximum supported resolution. If you don't know what that is, you should look up that information. If that resolution isn't available in the game, there can be several reasons why. The most common would be that the game has just not registered your change in monitor. To reset your o

And for the record, the solution is simple, it's just a matter of people having the time to do it. I have the time, so i will try to get them done and see if boogie can get them in the next update as i said. No promises though.
I will talk to boogiebac about getting this fixed, i know what the problem is already. I'll see if we can work it into the next update.
Answer is: All of these things (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) are intentional. They're part of the new game strategy :).
Please look here: [link="https://forums.galciv2.com/170648"]https://forums.galciv2.com/170648[/link] There will be a new version for twilight coming in the next couple of weeks.
Hehe, i've been wanting these for a while, Kryo, Scott, Cari, and Jesse can attest to it: 1. Bump, Spec, and Light (not city light) maps for planets. 2. Different Cloud textures for the exotic worlds; white puffy clouds on toxic worlds doesn't fit well, for example. 3. Definable (custom) Cloud and City Light textures for planets in CustomPlanets.xml. (This one i brought up to Scott, but they were too late to be worked

it was brought up, but there wasn't enough time :)
Heh, thanks for the bump. I haven't had as much time as i would have liked to finish things up for the mod. I blame my lack of concentration... and being a pisces. But rest assured, it is now being finished up, polished up, and getting ready for a short beta testing round. Then it will be released. I would hope no more than 2 weeks. Sooner if possible. There's still some content i wish to add. I will keep you guys updated.
It's SINS' time in the limelight right now :), once things settle down i think you can expect more from the beta updates.
The initial post has been updated to include a updated feature list for HRGM 2.0 (including a new and exciting feature!), and it's updated tentative release date.
this is what autosave is for ;)
And it is never wise to play the game at higher than desktop resolutions.
It shouldn't even be possible to play the game at a resolution higher than a monitor's max resolution... And kryo is right farwalker, TA can't affect ANYTHING regarding your system when it isn't running. Sounds like you just had some bad luck hardware issues.
I may be overdoing myself with the following observation but... if only "concept driven coders" could slap us all a similar engine with adaptable features and relative functions straight inside and beyond the TA-Expansion (incl, the projected GC2/editors!), i'd amazed and confused if no equivalent power is ported as is or even, better! <br
Just thought of one other really, really needed item -> right now when you direct more ships to a planet than it's starport can support they seem to just disappear. no warning, no nothing.
That would be called a bug, and you should report it so that it can be fixed :). EDIT: Though i myself can't seem to replicate this.
actually if you just click on the planet, then click it's name on the menu bar on the botoom of the screen, it will bring up the renaming window.
what do you mean by import? import it where? And when you are reffering to a model, it's called a texture (texturing) not a skin (skinning). Skins are for UIs. :)
It's KORATH... Not KorGath...
Personally i'd rather see it just destroy your colony, not the planet (i.e. leave the planet quality unaltered, just remove all improvements and population). But that's just me.
well i was not trying to be rude, and i do apologize for the comment. just in future if you got usefull input then so be it ,if not why post it?
It WAS useful, you were just a jerk. *shrugs*
