I've had a gun in my bedroom since I was about 8 years old, never shot anyone ...yet, and no desire to do so. The problem I see with Tasers and other non-lethal weapons is that the criminal has too many rights these days. The homeowner could easily find themselves in a legal battle for injuring a criminal that has broken into their property. Also there are

The sense of entitlement works both ways between people and government.
I agree with you Dr Guy...that's why I put the "should" in there. It's a sad situation. They encrypt a thumb print now into drivers license, maybe they should make sure the person matches the card witha scanner at the polling places. And ICE waiting in the wings.
I have no problem with governance as long as common sense is applied, what I have a problem with is handing my tax money over to people that for the most part never had to budget a thing in their lives. Could you imagine a person like Ted Kennedy worried about an electric bill? Lawyers are deciding where our money goes; I'd be more impressed if an economics or business degree were required
Brutality??? They should be given extra incentive pay for that. Prison in most cases is just college for criminals. They should have been suspended with pay, until the investigation was completed. It fair to the guard, and would probably speed up the investigation since they are paying someone to stay home and watch Oprah.
Republicans are trying to replace patriotism with treason, replace being an AMERICAN with being a Republican and Bush is actively attempting to replace democracy with fascism.
There are plenty of Democrats and liberals that post here on JU, and of those most are in touch with reality. They express their views a logical, thought provoking manner. You should seek them ou
When you move out of your mother's house
You could always do a carrer in the military like I did, they give you an ID card, but in your case swimming aross the Rio Grande doesn't qualify you as a Navy veteran, just someone who can't get a free ID from the DMV. Illegals are (and rightly so) the only people that should have a problem getting an ID.
know AMERICANS don't need a poll to realize the right is full of anti American delusionally psychotic fascists
You arn't by chance the Col. Gene replacement someone ordered are you?
Gee, its much better to be a happy psychotic than someone depressed
You certainly sound like one who knows.
Support this law or support AMERICA its not that difficult
I've had a picture ID since I was 17, it was no problem. I'm sure your just worried about the poor illegals not being able to vote, because anyone that must do a minimal amount of things like buying a car, home, openning a bank account, driving already has it. You;d pretty much, with few exceptions, have to be a lazy bastard not to go pick up a free ID card. When you trade your tricycle in for a car, you'll see
you have to stick your grandkids with the deficit from those low taxes, not your problem, right?
So we can assume that you'll be the first one to send your stimulus check back to the gov? Some how I think not. Hot air, like the rest of the left-wing elite.
at the expense of the working poor in America
I live pretty close to the working poor, no shortage of SUVs in many of their driveways.
Actually a lack of intelligence, complete unwillingness to address anything not fitting their preconceived nations and low morality is indicative of all conservatives.
Well on the bright side, a study held a few years back said on average conservatives are happier than liberals. Is that the reason for the angry posts from the left? I know it can be rough relaxing when somewhere out there some evil corporation is making a profit. <a title="Link" h
It is if you are a turnip
LOL, unfortunately the turnip garden is way too big for the demand.
Slick Willie couldn't have decimated the military without Ronald Reagan ending the cold war. Guess he thought he could just buy a few cruise missles to take the militarys place. Look where that got us.
Did the Huffington post or the Daily Kos run out of room for thier fan club to post?
Kind of like how Republicans lie about the border fence being anti terrorism while ignoring the fact that the only recorded incident of a terrorist crossing our borders illegally occurred on the Canadian border. Naw I don't like arguments (not even Col. Gene). You or any of the other posters could have felt free to or agree, disagree. I served 24 years so we all could speak our minds. You made a statement (th
Ponder this: Poor pay less taxes – Rich pay more taxes – Is this fair? If rich pay more, shouldn’t they get more from the Govt.?
No insult intended toward you specifically. However, if you don't want opposing comments maybe you should post a disclaimer, or restrict your blog to only people that agree with you. Personally I do like to hear other opinions, and I do respect them.
When I was a kid I (in the 60's) I thought we'd all be flying around in electro-magnetic cars by now anyway, what a bummer. Americans do their best when the going gets tough, we just need to get back to that.
I do feel a lot of sympathy with some of the left, especially the younger ones, that want so desperately to change the world that they don't care how or why. Not to get off topic but, my post was recently removed from a fellow JU's blog. The person, a college student was upse
