Now that it's blown up.. Looks like a guy wearing some kind of mask. Considering the context, he's probably a guard or mercenary working with the two hackers in the background. I don't quite get the mesh in the two eye holes, but there appears to be a breathing device where it's mouth should be. The horizontal lite on top of it's head could be a infra-red or light amplifying device. It's armor chest piece is a tad off center so it might be some kind of shield, that or a crappy editing job. <BR

It's good to see the AI becoming more intelligent. I've noticed a big difference right off the bat. Each other civ now goes apeshit for the resources from the beginning.. Of course I'll notice more as I continue. What have you noticed so far? ~SDC~

Elden, you can't be serious about the internet credit card thing... I've been charging things regularly over the internet since 94' and have yet to have any problems whatsoever. As for the download thing, find a friend or school with a high speed connection and tell then you'll pay them a couple of bucks to download and burn the game files for you. Problem solved. Quit making lame excuses and get this game! ;) ~SDC~

I noticed when I have the luck bonus I almost always recive the 25% of item researched anomoly successfully. In addition when invading a system the odds (where is changes from 12 to 4, 7 to 7, etc..) not only changes slower, but spits out better odds on average. With creativity you might have a couple months left when researching something and whammo, it's all of a sudden finished. ~SDC~

I'm running this game on two machines: 1. 800Mhz 128 meg ram 2. 400Mhz 128 meg ram laptop I finished a Gigantic with absolutly no problematic slowdown with the 800 box and have finished a a medium on the laptop. Sure on the 400 the videos are a bit choppy but one I saw them twice I just ESC out of them. buy the game, it'll be fine. With the amount of RAM you have I don't see how you'd have much trouble with a Gigantic. ~SDC~

Some you can just join but most appear to be invite only. If you can just join by clicking at the bottom of their stardock site it say join (something) Empire ot Galaxy or something. ~SDC~
