Am I missing it, or do ships not gain XP for combat victories? Maybe I'm missing where XP is displayed for ships. However, as far as I can tell they don't. They should.
Another one here that agrees with the op. The captain shouldn't have to spend every moment on the bridge. Just because he's ordered the pilot to lay in a course to a given destination, doesn't mean the pilot should be stupid enough to just keep going when he runs into Romulan Warbird. He should full-stop, wake the captain, and sound the red alert! Right now it's like someone left Wesley Crusher at the damn helm.
When watching battles play out the ships on both sides of the engagement have a tendency to drift off the viewable area of the battle at the top and bottom. They rebound back into view after a couple seconds, but during that time I can't see what weapon fire hits, or which ships were hit. Not sure if this already been reported, unique to my system, or moved off the list of things to correct and is now considered a 'feature'. <span style="text-decoratio
So, I'm just beginning my play of beta 6 (also my first play through of Gal Civ 3). How do you reasonably look around the map? My mouse cursor doesn't redirect the view as I move to the edge of the screen. My view isn't redirected (centered) upon the unit I'm moving (while I move it). The only way I've found to look around is the arrow keys, that with a tap are far to responsive. Thank you,
(IMO) There is no way this game will be ready for consumers on May 14th
All depends on much Ramen, Hot Pockets, and overtime Stardock is prepared to pay its programers.
