If this is true, it's really just a horrible decision on the part of the developers of the game. Sure, you could go through and examine every planet every turn, but this is just an incredibly tedious an uninteresting way to spend your time. And it's not even really very effecftive. You can focus on Social when a planet is constructing buildings but not whips and Military when it is building ships but not buildings. But both of these have a

Is there any point in building a starbase on a resource that is outside the range of your planets? For example, if there's a Mining resource with no habitable planets in it's range, does it do anything for you?

I made the mistake of placing a Rally point directly on top of a Starbase. Now I want to delete the Rally Point, but no matter what I do, I can't select it. Double-clicking on the spot selects the Starbase, never the Rally point. Is there another way to delete a Rally point? Also, is there any way to cycle through my ships that still have movement left? It's just unbeleivable to me that I have to scan the map every turn, as well as examining every planet to see if I have ships that n
