I completely agree as well. Just yesterday, I received an e-mail from one of the developers that helped me fix the problem that I had with the trade sliders and I didn't even e-mail anyone. I had merely placed my message in bugs portion of the forum and Cari Begle replied. Extremely excellent customer service.

The bug with the trade sliders persist in that they're white and I can't use the slider, but rather, I have to type it out or click the arrows.
I love the game as I see it as an uber civilization/alpha centauri. It's in a class of its own, but what really shines, in my opinion, is the company behind as they've shown their support with such great enthusiasm that it truly astonishes me. I'd like to thank them all for providing such a great service and that I hope they'll keep it up as I'm certain I'll be buying more of their games and recommending it to others. By the way, I'll have your babies...might be hard since I'm a guy, but I'll fi
It would be great if espionage included features such as sabotage, assassination, etc. Then perhaps you could set up terrorist organizations that would wreak havoc on certain planets for a certain amount of BC dependent upon the action taken. Espionage should also affect destabilization, because c'mon, if you understand the structure behind the governments, then making it collapse would only be easier. By the way, I love your game and the support you show for your community is truly a
In one game, I was at war with the Yor. They had an alliance with the Altarians. The Altarians then declared war with me and I knew I couldn't handle both, so I offered peace terms. The thing is, I didn't have to offer anything else to get them to agree, but herein lies the bug, I was able to request all the money or influence points I wanted and they'd still agree to the trade.
The ability to request contacts from other races. For instance, say, I meet the Drengins and they're dealing with the Altarians. I'd like to be able to ask them to let me contact them for a price, rather then the task of having to search them out forever in space.
Coercing other nations to break alliances would be great as well.
Being able to capture trade vehicles on route to their destination would be great for reaping all the BC that it would have been worth.
The thing that would make it balanced would be to have a limit the to the number of ships that can be grouped. Large ships could only have three for instances, small ships can have six. I also like the idea of the evasive abilities for the small ships. May not be realistic, but hey, it's better than nothing.
Bug in the diplomacy window in which the 'leave' button says, "String not found." Then when I try to use the sliders for BC and influence in it, they're white and I can't use them unless I click the arrows. Then in-game, it suddenly crashed for no apparent reason. All of this occured after reinstalling GalCiv and then getting all the patches, bonuspaks, and then the new multimedia. ~SDC~
