Playing the game on a laptop in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Will the game, GalCiv 2 work on my laptop I wonder. It has an integrated graphics card with shared memory, Intel something its called. Its fairly new though. Anyone knows?

If i buy the game now via electronic download, will I be able to download and play it right away, even though its not the final version?

Downloading and Patching in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

When i opt to download and archive in the Stardock program, how do I then use this download?, I don't seem to get the files working when extracting them into the Gal Civ directory...?? I want to download each patch, so that I can burn them onto a cd for keepsake. But if I don't know how to implement them into the game, they won't be of much use now will they. ~SDC~
