FOW is not removed from my view when I lose a ship, even after several turns or after game reload. This is quite handy for me, but definitively a bug. I have a save game.

should I report the bug or its already done?
dont get me wrong, I think GC2 is a pleasant game, but I find rather strange that there is fancy moons orbiting worlds in 1.00, but not a basic gameplay feature like this one. It just means priorities are accessed in an order that I dont quite follow I guess.
Why the on-planet build time differs from the one of the planet list? Its calculated differently it seems, which sound rather weird. Also I would like to know what are the cost of the various building, how can I do that?
you are joking, arent you?
now can someone tell me why I never see my posts, even some hours after posting them? I can just keep track of them thru the watchlist. I have to say that I really dont like this home-made forum. UBB or any other is far better.
The initial HW has 5 b pop. I have a +20% growth bonus. Turn 1 to 3 give me the plain +0.1 b growth, for a final total at turn 3 of 5.3. Where is gone by bonus?
I'm sure can only see the Grand Scheme (tm) and forget about this kind of optimization. But I will have to play at a lower difficulty level then...
thats a basic functionnality, I mean it was already there in alpha centauri. I wonder how they missed that, in higher difficulty level each production point count, and a week lost can be a severe blow.
so basically when you run 20+ planets, you are doomed to fiddle with the planetary focus so to not loose too much points? I would hate that. Saber, are you the Saber Cherry of the Dominions forum? I used to be there for quite a long time, and I'm waiting eagerly for Dom3. Is this post located in the general forum? I cant see it except with my watch list.
hi all, So far, so good. GalCiv2 has much to give, speaking of fun. Congrats to the team. Now, I would like my only fear to be dismissed. Just tell me that research points and social points carry over on the next item (tech or building), I'm under the big impression that its not the case. Are we back to the queuing of Civilization II here? Why I dont see my spot on the general tab except in watch mode?

I'm in patch 102 (as displayed on the main menu), but I'm unsure if it is build 49. But as stardock central tells me I'm up to date, I suppose that this is ok. So this means that there is still the bug.
Is this UP vote a workaround so that transports can still continue unescorted? I really would like to have unarmed ships (colony ship, transport, constructor)be somehow escorted. At least to have some chance against a marauding starfighter/corvette of the player (because the IA dont know hit and run tactic). I'm not asking to add a BC for each transport, but a little defender would goes a long way. Seems like a trivial cost compared to the cost of a constructor, or the time it takes for a
In my present game (intelligent AI) two of the AI were gathering constructors around one of the resource I exploited. And I saw a continuous stream of constructors sent from their worlds. It amounted to 11 and 7 constructors waiting next to my SB. Also seems like the colony ships stop dead in their tracks when they reach a planet already colonized. Seems like the program dont reevaluate the tasks of his ships when they fail to complete the intended goal. :notsure:
