Hey, Where can I get a list of 'cheat codes' (not that I want to cheat except in the purpose of some small modifications to the game). So far I know: CTRL - N : regen the map CTRL - U : uncover shroud CTRL - T : Teleport sovereign? You have to add 'cheat' as a parameter to the FE.EXE...

Hi, How can I alter the way most units and champions look to you, so that they start looking at you straight and not as if they are looking at you and you are higher than them? Sorry I fumble with the words here but I think some of you will understand me, hopefully :) ? For example Procipinee is ok for me, Relias has just this irritating look, I want to slap him.

+1 on Nick-Danger post. The pathfinding from cities to cities is terrible, and I think everyone, Brad included, suffered from it at least once. Quite often, the unit will pop up in the wrong square and travel extra days to reach the 2nd city whereas a path existed which allowed a 1 turn move. Anyway, thanks for the hard work on the AI.

I noticed that you find a lot of weapons of all sorts, but very rarely items like a chain mail or a plate armor. I'm not speaking of anything with a prefix or suffix, like masterwork, grounded, etc. Just a basic, mundane chain mail, chain greaves, etc. part. Now if you look at CoreArmor, these items are set as common but they don't have a rarity associated, like 200 ... So wha

Hey, I was considering recently the implication of having an absolute cost (say +10 cost to an unit so it can have more attack rating) or a relative benefits (say an outpost gives +25% defence rating). Is it really what the designers wanted? To favor each time the strongest units, in a kind of snowballing effect aka Darwinesque approach 'the strong becomes stronger, the weak will be weaker' etc. ? Because think about that. For lous

I find that quite a potential exploit... That roads are instantly created between 2 cities. Case in point, a new settlement separated by no less than 27 tiles of wilderness and monsters lairs is now connected to my capital. That will prove quite handy to send through this highway my hero party for some good whack-a-ogre game... I would suggest that the road is built one tile per turn from the new settlement and the other one toward each other.

I would have preferred a DLC that is adding up non humanoid factions. That would have been a no brainer to get. Something along the line of what Master of Magic had, and not Elves and Dwarves and Orcs. Suggestions: - Draconians - Beastmen (centaurs, minotaurs, Satyrs, etc.) - Avians... Also you'll want to check on Dominions III and its 52 or so races and hundreds of monsters to get inspiration, the designers are well versed in

1.009 remarks, most may be valid? some heroes are overburdened (Tearny is at 106%) Training costs 0 turn to research when you create a sovereign, you don't have access to some of the items of the precreated sovereigns. Courage spell is quite underwhelming (for a hero at least) can great wolf gives more than a single mundane wolf pet? not much quests around dagger is better than assassin dagger juggernauts e

Hi, Very good beta 4, congrats to the team! Bug: After using the scroll of escape, I did not got teleported in my capital but remained in the same square (although I escaped combat) remark: cost of rushing buildings or units should be higher if the item has just been started, otherwise I believe this is abusable (Krax with his 1000 gildars... wow!)

I think Bellack proposes the safest way to success... You get your 'standard tech tree', that covers all the angles of the game, so that all features are covered, and then you have a collection of random techs (only some are drawn at the start of each game, but you can perhaps unlock more with epic quest or whatever) that are added to the tree. They can even be 'grafted' at different places (that still make sense) depending of the game. They can be a slightly better (b

Hey, Games after games, the tech tree remains the same. Sure, depending of your nation, your research strategy will differ, but still... 'same old things' feeling appears rapidly. A few game have tried to break the mould by proposing slightly changing tech tree, for each game. For example the costs between 2 items differ. Or bonus A is given in tech X in a game, but in tech Y in another. Or bonus A is slightly less interesting in game X th

I would dearly appreciate, if for a change, FE broke the old model that all games I can think about follow... i.e the best strategy for enchantment is first and foremost to pile them up on your most powerful units, and if you have really spare juice, a few basics units get some. i.e Master of Magic, Age of Wonders, Warlord, Warlock and a few others. Now, players are not the culprits here, it is just that when you have strong units, adding up more

Hi, As a reward for attaining a new level, I choose 'gardens' for my capital. It was not given in the end too me (to my dismay). Also, UI wise, I think it would be good to list the perks a town has? subsidiary remark: should you not get slightly more HP back if you pass a turn instead of moving for your units? Would introduce an extra choice of tactic (beside being 'logical' I guess).

Hi, Here are some remarks from a previous player of Elemental and an old gamer: 1 - It would be better for the eyes if the tooltip indicating the nature of the terrain under the cursor, and the resources produced, where attached to the mouse, and not at the top right of the screen. See how your eyes move back and forth between the tiles you inspect and the little box at the top right? Not good... 2 - Why cities get 10% unrest even with zero taxes? Except
