LOL I love the name for the race you picked!! :p I have thought about when I played on Subnormal.. The game is still teaching me lessons every time I play. Its a pity more ppl did not give this game a chance. I feel many do not understand how different the game is on each increase in difficulty.. Well for me at least! :D

I use it with all my games.. I did not know it was slowing things down? CTD (crash to desktop) is not attached to the autosave feature I would not think. Old age? I bet I have most beat at 50 years old in March! LOL I will die playing a video game!! :D [Message Edited]

I never lost control of the senate since my early first games. I suggest when you approach the elections to adjust the sliders to reflect the party you picked. If you understand what I mean? If your party is big in research then you will need to do that. If another party is dominating then adjust the sliders to make that one not be dominate. It is a little trial and error thing with me at least. I am a rookie forgive me if my tips are not great. :) [Message Edited]

MAD?? NO that is a sniff sniff emoticon over my mistakenly calling Moser Mod pack events and not Anomalies as I know they are. I use his mods in all games I play. Its all good! NeoTech has come good players and info also. You may want to check in there as well. :D

This may fall under another department [email protected] Pat will help you out with your extra name. Nope Galciv and the AP expansion works exactly the same way. The new Galciv2 will have a new metaverse. If you plan on using any Mods in your games try to stick with the certified Mods. I recommend Icho Tolot, Moser_The_Alchemist and Matthew Downie Mods. They provide a good balanced game but totally different then the way the game normally plays. Adds in about 300+ new items

Yeah I realized my error after I was back uploading files at NeoTech. Of course when I discovered my blunder these great forums not allowing editing ended up insulting you with the wrong statement. I knew perfectly well what Mods you make I use them all the time and I was thinking of the one you mentioned. DOH! Oh.. I understand Chippoka! 50 hours a week I would not be online as much as you bud. :D Our hope is in Akula hands she is working on some ship models but she is doing with her own programs. She needs the specifics on the graphics. Bit size etc. if you happen to have any of this info then we can get her started. She loves to render graphics and she is very good at it! ;)

2D as far as I know is dependent strickly with the CPU. There would be a small increase with a high end video card but nothing to make a big difference. I never tried a stack larger then around 10 ships. Never any slow down at all unless I play Gigantic. As far as the explanation about the 2D issue go to NeoTech in NYS Computers ask Shawn about it. He is an expert with this stuff he knows more then anyone I know on PC hardware. (Of course I am bias he is my son. :D) I am not the tech g

NOPE! Peace is correct! What you can do to improve the game is to have a chip that supports Hyperthreading, Windows XP and a fast CPU. These things will improve the movement speeds and handle all graphics that Galciv and dish out. 2 CPU's means nothing hardly any games support this as of late. Yes indeed I recommend Moser The Alchemist Event Pack and a few others out there. Get them from the library here or the mirror we made at NeoTech. I NEVER play GC without Mods installed. I played exclusively with Icho Tolot Mods and Mosers Mods, oh I use saint and sinners by Matt Downie I think is his name. :D Icho Mods change the entire game for the better.
