It is a fairly lame game anyways.. I took the time to install it finally and then ripped it out afterwards. It is horrible compared todays standards of graphics etc. No game will draw my interest more then Galciv does. LOL

Sounds like to me someone trying to play for free not someone who lost their serial number. :D Nice try.. Stardock has one of the best protection schemes going I think. Galciv is the only game that is not floating around being pirated like crazy.
I was trying to run the game to see but gave up trying to figure out what to download to make it run. It appears it is not good graphically at all. I highly doubt this do anything to Galciv sales. If I was Stardock I would be filing charges.. :notsure:

I am glad to see there is some interest in Modding still. If you do not know how to Mod well no time like the present to learn. :p If you made a Mod or two and want to bypass the submission wait for Galciv post it at NeoTech. We have all downloads online now except for about 30 events. Currently NeoTech uses an FTP service for uploading. Downloading is normally done.
I really thought that once Altarian Prophecy was released that many Mods, Scenarios and campaigns would be created. To my dismay this is not the case. I am wondering why hardly no one is making Mods for this game? Boring? No fun? Do not know how? What is the general reason that Mods are not being made? I have a ton of ideas myself.. NewfyScotian I agree with everything you said especially the lack lustered manual. :p That is how I tell what bonuses are given to a ship after it is built to determine the bonuses I get for any built there. I use specific planets for building my fleet. :)
Stardock is cool about replacing lost CD's I had a situation that they handled for me without any problems. I downloaded Stardock central got my serial number and they sent me my CD. I have come across a rather odd bug. I saved a screenshot. The game I am playing now the Arcean have came to me on two occasions wanting to trade techs. The first time he asked he indicated what tech of mine he wanted but offered nothing in return. The next time he says I want to trade techs and nothing showed up at all?? Let me know if you need the screen shot or not. I have had the same issues with auto-survey.. Another issue that happens quite often is that the game is skip

Weyrleader is right on.. (Of course ;) ) I use starbases for all my trade routes placing them at the start and the end, sometimes inbetween.
