I've come across a bit of a bug in the beta 2 research screen. You can currently double click on ANY technology to research it, regardless of whether or not you have the prerequisites. It's interesting researching death rays when I only have laser 3 researched.

The major question I have revolves around tokens. Will there be a way to purchase extra tokens at a reduced rate during your 2-year membership (similar to drengin/TG renewals)
After a few account fixes, I'm up and running.
I'm having activation issues with the TG serial. I'm working with Cari_Elf to hopefully fix them.
I've downloaded it, but I can't activate it
That game's already been revealed by Brad... read his beta 2 post, and look at the SDC screen shot
I look forward to seeing the beta. And thanks for the quick teaser of the phase 2 games... I've been thinking of trying gish for a while now.
Just the beginning? Now I'm curious.
I'll be quite interested to see how this one turns out. You guys continue to tackle new game concepts that no one else will touch. Good luck, and I look forward to the betas.
This is one of the reasons I play Guild Wars. The game automatically divides up the loot among the party members, eliminating the first round of difficulties, and simply creating a trading situation with players wanting the item and teh player who was assigned the item.
An interesting idea... I'm not sure about the third axis proposed by drachir, though... Also, based on what I've seen, I disagree with Drachir's classification of that religion... I believe the correct classification would be greedy lawful warlike. Charity and warlike seem to be directly opposed, as they would seem to represent a spirit of conciliation versus a spirit of righteous fury.
I've been amazed by Stardock's communications from Day 1, and this beta is no different. Thanks for everything!
Once again, I'm amazed at the customer service provided by Stardock. I can't wait for the coming iterations of the beta!
The game crashed to desktop after setting up for a new game and trying to load the map. I set it to 9 opponents, small galaxy, all options at abundant. Thanks for the reassurance, CariElf.
ally better. After all, Stardock's supposed to be a bastion of customizability in a world of conformity
rough those years.
I've seen several journal entries lately regarding revamping textures, polygons, etc. to work properly on low end video hardware. Speaking as someone with high end equipment (2.6Ghz P4 @2.8, 1GB PC3200 Ram, Radeon X800 XT), I would greatly appreciate if the high end textures remain as an option in the game for those with hardware capable of supporting it. I am in no way suggesting that low end systems get ignored, just that options be maintained to make the most o
Also, I seem to recall similar symptoms from others with older Intel integrated graphics chips. If you have such a chip, blame Intel for your problems, as they refuse to release updated drivers that support the DirectX9 functions implemented in most recent games, including Political Machine. Additionally, Ubisoft is technically responsible for all Tech Support issues with the retail version, IIRC.<
And some will call it.... Tim
My understanding is that Stardock's discontinued support for SF
I've heard that there will be no November or December games, but this should not be taken as official.
I'm here... I'll mostly lurk until I have something in front of me that I can comment upon.
This question is better directed at Ubisoft, as it relates to the copy protection software. From my own experience, this error occurs if you have any program set to "hide CDR media" such as cloneCD
It most likely means that you don't have directX 9 installed. You can find if for download at microsoft's site.
