Constructive criticism is very valid, and often necessary, but this guy is so intelligent, that he has to resort to flaming/insulting/swearing/ at people who are, and will probably do, more in their lifetime than he will proably ever do. BTW - For someone who pretends to be so clever, your grammer is so sadly lacking. Take no notice of this idiot.

I'm another one who would like to see borders added to the game. Hope something feasible can be arrranged for GC2, and could perhaps be expanded on by the time we get to GC3. Done right, I think this would add an extra dimension to diplomacy, trade, intel / counter-intel, covert ops etc. There's a lot of good ideas already suggested in this thread and others, and i hope Stardock can see the sense in adding this feature to the game. I have a couple queries i have on how thi
I would rather see this incorporated into an expansion pack, but would purchase if there was enough content, i.e - unique planetary improvement, starbase and ship graphics.
Yeah! When the "suits" out number the devs, that's when we need to worry. The GalCiv team have always given good support for the series and i'm not surprised at all that this has continued with V2, but with this new release taking off in the way that it has, i'm a little bit sceptical on how they will go about things in the future. Personally, i'm not interested in Stardocks corporate side of things. I just like the games they develop.
With GC2 obviously exceeding all of your expectations commercially (you've said as much), please do keep your "feet on the ground". I trust you will keep a perspective on what has got you there in the first place. You have provided great support so far with this game, and have shown a refreshing willingness to interact with your customers. Your developers have given us frequent beta updates (To make your game better. More sales anyone? ), answered our questions, and generally provided great
I think that he just changed the social production bug that he mentioned in the journal immediately after he put .009 on SDC Reckon your probably right. Thanks for everyone's replies on this.
Saw that list. Looks exactly like the .09 changelog. Could be wrong though.
There is the History button on SDC. I think this mentions full release versions, beta1 to beta2, but not minor builds.
Noticed that a version .010 of Beta2 is available via SDC. Anyone know what was changed in this update? TIA
That happens in all the versions. Happened in GC1 too It would be nice if this could be added to Galciv II' FoW capablities. It makes little sense that you can start off not knowing where a certain civ is located, not understand their language, but you get to hear about major breakthroughs they are ha
He113ent, Thanks for the info & link. Cheers
Downloading now. Thanks Stardock. Great support!!
I think i get exactly the same Mcafee script blocking pop-up as you. Comes up everytime i run Galciv2. What was your fix for this? No problem if you can't help out, i can just allow the script to run and the game loads ok.
If you play in windowed mode (which i usually do) you can use ALT_PRINTSCREEN to take a screenshot of the currently active window instead of your whole desktop. As stated above, CTRL_V into your image prog.
I was just about to hit the sack. It's 02:47 GMT. Guess i'll just have to d/l a do some play-testing. Thanks Stardock!
Thanks Citizen jefe414. Much appreciated.
Ahh...i see. Thanks for the quick reply. Got a link for that site / page ?
According to the Galciv storyline, it was the Iconians who created the Yor. That being the case, i was just wondering why the Yor's home planet is called "Iconia" and the Iconians world is called "New Iconia". Shouldn't this be the other way round?
Is there any chance that a windowed mode might be incorperated into the full GalCiv? I too mainly prefer to play using the windowed version (seem to get cleaner, crisper graphics on my 19" 1600x1200 res. screen). Also, any option to alter screen resolutions would come as a nice addition. In the meanime, any chance of a fix for GalCivW and enabling it to run 32bit colour? LOL ~SDC~
