Sounds brilliant Hurls, must admit feeling somewhat jealous.. In June I came down for the Wallabies v England game and did the MCG tour.. What a brilliant place it is and to sit in the Long Room was truly an awesome experience ... just being there with all the history and talking to the old boys that had seen it all.. Even got to walk on to teh hallowed turf. It was a great weekend

Thanks Wombie, although I must admit after reading the recent threads re maso scores, it's kind of taken the edge off it. I think it was Cypher who said it best when he said you play the mechanics of teh gamke rather than the game itself.. The last couple of maso's have been very easy thanks to the all the tips strats. I'm playing for the score at the moment, but will soon get fed up of it and just become a forum poster I think. I haven't done much on here lately been

I'll probbaly need to come down in a couple of weeks tiem, although its budgetting time at the moment so trying to fit it in either before the 9th of October or maybe around 24th October so I can watch the England v Samoa game at Colonial.. I'll keep you posted..

Cheers Wombie, I wasn't offended... in fact if i'd have receioved something like "That's really bad luck" then I would have thought something was wrong... I have asked support if they can change it, we'll see what response I get.. As far as the Grange goes, I was expecting something really special, but it wasn't. Still it was nice to have tried it. And well done on all the hard work putting the stories together... And Quack, got loads of spares!

Just an additional point, once I have got to battleship and can start to build comb transports and dreadnoughts.. I research tech to get to excalibur first bypassing dreadnoughts, rangers, avatars and ovelords. With the diplomacy increasing all teh time a civ wil normally trade some of these.. Another think is try and have about 100bc in espionage in the best economy civ.. Can pick up a lot of their techs. Ignore the other military, but build up through research (brown) and the yellow

Well done Killa on your Veteranship... Wombie should have got one as well... Great story Quack... I would like to point out however I'm not always drunk... only during waking hours. I just dropped a 26K bomb (small/maso) and we are only 300 or so behind the ring bandits..

Bortoli still do the noble one.. Killa.. The Chambourcin I mentioned earlier is in that light quaffing style, reminds me a lot of the cru beaujolais.. lots of summer fruit and good length and delicious served lightly chilled... I apologise to everyone for turning this thread into a version of What Wine.... And where's Quack, think we need a story from him.

Your Suavenss I think when I next get to Melbourne, probably in a couple of weeks time an evening in Langtons might be on the table.. I actually buy a lot of wine through Langtons.. they have auctions very regularly.. That's where I manage to get some of my older stuff.. Particularly pleased with an unopened boxed Dom Perignon I got for $120.. woudl make a lovely wedding present

However Whites I'm not a Rielsing fan but i know mny people are.. I would choose the Evans & Tate Verdelho Reds Not familar with all of them I have had the Goundrey before and that is very nice General Comment: Rosemount always make consistently good wines and good value
