Yes, I would rather the Ascian have 4 movement, lose it's lightning teleport attack and replace it with a normal range 1 lightning attack.
Ascian does need to move faster, especially since it can't get a mount. I'm for making it have 4 movement, and it could keep the lightning teleport.

I have encountered this too. It seems like on the tactical map in .8 that unless you click on the exact center of the tile it won't work. I didn't notice it in FE or .75, but it might have been in earlier versions too, but I didn't notice it as much. I have pictures backing this up. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/77858773/LegendaryHeroes_1365957184.jpg &nbs
Mounts need some downside, so that you want a mix of units. Classically infantry holds the line, and calvary charges. I'd think that's a good basis for how the units roles should be defined. I would try to do stuff like the following: - make infantry the only units able to have "guarded" status. The theory being mounted units do not actively defend or hold the line. Calvary
My .8 game crashed. Here is the err file https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/77858773/debug.err
i think it's still a bit to hard to see on green and blueish background, maybe it's my eyes but i'd like to see maybe an option to turn on a version with half the transparence or a non transparent border Reduced 55%Original 1024 x 640
I agree. It's still hard to see on some backgrounds.
I have no idea how I had two accounts under the same email address, but thanks for merging them! It worked, and I'm downloading LH now.
Anyone else have any suggestions on what to do now?
I am logged in with the same account. I have now tried it with IE and Chrome and I'm getting the same problem on both.
Anyone have any other suggestions? BTW I'm using chrome does that matter?
I have logged in. I'm not sure what the problem is.
I am a current FE and Map Pack DLC owner, and I'm trying to upgrade. On the LH page, it says that current owners can upgrade for 19.99, and there is a link to click on, but when I click the link the store says it LH costs 39.99. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks for the help.
I would love to see crafting added to the game. However, I think that crafting should only be allowed in cities or a special crafting tiles and that crafting items should give experience. Also, the crafted items should only be for champs/sovs/henchmen and not trained units. There should be skill levels to the crafting ability and a chance to fail. I would love to see the various items harvested from the wastes (demon horns, wolf pelts, etc) be combined with resources and mana and then
Everything sounds great to me except for steam. Now granted I haven't used steam in years (like 2006 or 2007 I think), but my last experiences with it were absolutely horrible. It crashed my system often, and it just seemed like malware to me. However, I REALLY love FE, and this expansion seems like it takes it to the next level. I may break down and give steam a chance; however, I am greatly disappointed it has came to this. I would have much preferred just buying it from stardock, but o
I also think that guardian monsters shouldn't leave their lairs, but should attack units in adjacent tiles. They should have a zoc, and spawn wandering monsters.
I think I experienced the same thing on .912. I had an Epic army, and it said I was facing off against an Epic army. I noticed 3 or 4 fire elementals in the front row, with ignys behind them (a couple of singles and a couple in groups of 3), no major baddie in the rear. At first I thought it might be a two part fight. I went in and killed everything, and it was fairly easy. The battle ended, and it said I had killed the Pyre of Man, so I just assumed that he was on of the fire elementals stan
I'm not sure if dropbox will properly allow me to share saves, but here you go... http://dl.dropbox.com/u/77858773/new%20save.EleSav It should be the starting position for my last game (all saves are with .92, not sure if that matters though) http://dl.dropbox.com/u/77858773/Arisl%20SteamRoller.EleSav <a href="http://dl.

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for from the public beta, so I have just played it like a normal game, just with the expectations of bugs and crashes. I never played Elemental: WoM. I was excited when I first read about it. I loved MoM, and I thought a Stardock spiritual successor could be really fun, but after reading generally negative things on it after release, I skipped it (I skipped Civ 5 as well). I have tons of experience with Civ2, SMAC, Civ3, Galciv2,

I like the ideas presented so far. Here's my suggestions/summary of what I like from above: Each city can only have one Chartered guild and one official guild building. When a city reaches level 4 you have a choice of 2 or 3 randoms guilds to choose from. If you wait to choose a guild, your choices can change over time. Each guild has two basic buildings to choose from, and each one of these buildings can get a small upgrade later on.
Also make some way to easily cycle through all of your units and planets
*Make minor races EXACTLY like major races except they don't start with very little money (maybe 500 instead of 5000), no ships, less population (maybe half), no technology, and no starport. However, they would colonize, build fleets, and explore just like any other civ (once they finally get up and running). *Make it so that ships orbiting a planet automatically fight as a fleet. *Add in logisitcs and miniturization to the abilities list. *Introduce negative ability
Ok I have a question about my AI opponents. When I set up a game and choose a race for the first time I have between 7-10 points to allocate for the standard races. After I allocate the points, and start a new game I notice that DA saves my point allocations and the next time I see different stats in the race overview. How does this effect the AI? After I allocate points to a race, does the AI keep the new stats, or does it get to allocate it's own points, or does the AI keep the base stats? I'm
