Amazing game! If you like Civ (any of 'em :D )MOO2,SMAC you'll like this one. The battles are kinda lame,but what makes this game stand out among others is the almost total control of your empire,and the diplomatic intrigue.The AI civs arent all cookie cutter molds,all seem to be different,and keep me on my toes.Mix that up with some crazy events that can change everything instantly,and you've got a winner.

Hmmm,clearly the propaganda machine has been hard at work. Yes,in GalCiv lowering taxes does seem to raise morale.I wonder if it's because it means that they are now only supporting 2 families instead of 3,those that actually have to pay taxes that is (:(

I'm a noob spacefarer,so please bear with me. 1.When i'm in the diplomatic screen,and trying to work a trade,is it possible to have the AI make me an offer on a particular item,or tech? Tounge in cheek Example: Hi you wierd looking critter! I have some universal translaters gathering dust,would you like to make an offer on one?
