I just built one in 1.02 in a gigantic galaxy - 144 starbases, taking three constructors each. Took quite a while let me tell you :) They still work. In the mean time, Drengin have taken over almost the entire rest of the galaxy. But I will get them soon. I've nearly got Terror Star tech, and once I do I'm going to use 296-move constructors to plant lots of them next to their most important systems all over the galaxy. I'm sure they will be begging for mercy soon :CONGRAT:

Yes, it only moves one space per turn. In future, try to build it near it's intended target(s) if you can - constructors can move a lot faster. All you do is move it like you would with a ship to attack. When to attack a star with it, the entire star and all planets are destroyed and simply dissapear. :) No idea re: good/evil, and I reckon it probably makes the other empires quite afraid of you. Besides what you are already doing (giving them loads of free stuff always helps) there are a couple of other things. 1. Have lots of trade with them. If their economy depends upon you, they tend to like you. 2. Check you alignment. They just won't like you if your alignment is too different from theirs, unless you give them *masses* of stuff. I spent ages in one game trying to get the Arceans to like me when I was pure good (they were the most powerful civ) but they w

Hi - I don't see this reported already, though I'm surprised no-one else seems to have noticed. The planet colonization events that can give bonuses to research (e.g. the underwater domes one) do not work. With the other events, as soon as you have colonized the planet if you go onto the detail screen you see the bonus listed (e.g. +xx% Planet Quality), but not with any of the research bonus events. I just colonized a planet, took the evil option since it gave a whopp
