Strange. I always get people on colony ships, never on transports. I fear reporting it as a bug because it is probably just that I am doing something wrong, but I can't see that I am doing anything different. :(
I usually build them on my main planet, quite late into the game. I don't know how many people are there, but it seems like there should be enough.
Err, which little side screen? When I click to launch, I never get a slider, it just automatically launches. (:(
Whenever I attack a planet, it always says there are 0 troops in my attack. I always lose 0 troops. They lose some number of troops too. I can never actually conquer a planet. On the other hand, the enemy ALWAYS successfully conquers my planets whenever I make a mistake and allow a troop transport to land. I have tried looking for a way to load troops onto my transports, but I can't figure out how to do this. Do I have to create Troops somehow?
I agree with the corvettes required to get to battleships. I was going to ask for some way to just remove a tech I think is useless from the list so it doesn't keep showing up every time. I usually research these just in case it will affect my score, and to get the off the list. However, making them prerequisites for more interesting techs would also prevent me from thinking they are useless.
