One way to take out an annoying starbase! Position on of your ships that has enough firepower to take out the starbase beside it. Trade the ship to a race that is at war with the starbase's owner. Park a constructor beside it before making the trade. Most, but not all, of the time the new owner of your ship will destory the starbase. You get the benefits of the trade package, you don't have to get into what may be an untimely war, and you get to gobble up the resource! ~SDC~
