Reply to Bug Report Thread in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I am a newbie. I just purchased game in retail store, installed it, and updated everything I could via StarDock. First surprise is that it updated only windowed version, not regular one. Is it supposed to be the case? Secondly windowed version does not run. Full blown game runs just fine, but hey, it's v. 1.0. I found FAQ on Dregnin.net suggesting to switch color depth to 16 bit.
