Well My opinion on really animated skins are that they work awesome as part of a whole theme or suite..IE Toon XP o..But Their so hard to make look good with diffrent walls and such..especially when you have a Animatiuon and a Skin name all over it..It looks mismatched with a wallpaper that has a diffrent name or logo on it..Or worse yet..I hate when Skinners put their web address all over everything also..It takes hours to remove logos for websites from skins and walls...Im not allowed other we
I will add I did not have to pay for mikes appollo suite..which was free and very comrehensive..also several others..I just would rather have had the opp to buy it all togher in one big package..I love the idea of mini suites..They just had a little mishap here with this and I sress.."trial and Error" no biggy I will still purchase their future suites also..I just was kimnda bumed cuz all togher it cost 25 dollars to get everything...But good ideas guys and keep up the phenom work... )

At my work, I use windows 1.0 and 3.11 we do programing of Eproms and such..These old programs are also command line driven so I also use alot of dos 6.2..I have 3 8088 proccesors.. 2 that use 386 and 2 that use 486..I use them specifically to control a wireless network and to load Hex files onto data terminals in an Industrial manufacturing environment... Not like its nessasary to use this old equipment
I thought porting a skin meant you only made it "work" in another app.LIke Style XP to WB or the other way around..If so why would someone redo the "graphics" on a porting job...Woldnt that be sort of like cheating????Just courius..
all I know for sure is that their is a special set of Hex code you have to change to do this, since it is assighned..I just dont know what to change this code to for proper assighning of 64 megs.It is currently set at 32 megs..It doesnt look hard to do I would just need to know the proper hex to do it.
Just from personal expierience, I found a 4Gig IBM Travelstar laptop drive in a junk box..I have a special little adapter board I purchased for 6bucks at Frys Electronics used to allow a laptop drive to be installed as a slave...Ive been using it for storage now literaly hanging out off the IDE cable for a year now..It works awesome, But I dont recommend it..This is just to point out that drives will take abuse if you so desire to cut corners..NOT RECOMMENDED just pointing out how mean I am to t

I have to add my 2 cents on this..Some ppl at WC are plain Mean..Dont take em seriously..Its not like you have to actually see and work with them..Ive been flamed hard by some and you just have to ignore them or tell them off.Some ppl need to realize how to TACTFULLY inform some one of a FAUX PAU...Evreyone screws up....Just seem ppl are so pathetic they have to reavel in others little mistakes cuz they are losers....Im sorry some one gave you crap over such a little thing...Big Hugs and dont fe
I have a Fujitsu C2210 Laptop..The Video RAM is shared..I installed a 512Meg DDR 233MHz stick and After running several apps at once I realize that I never even come near to using all my ram...Has anyone ever tried to change the amount shared? I would like to move it up to 64 Megs to see if it improves my video res and FPS. I emailed Fujitsu..They said they couod not tell me how to it was against company policy to tell ppl how to mod their computers...So Im not to keen on some of the crazy tweak
I use 1024 x 768 its just easier to work with..I also use a laptop with a dual monitor set up...I run one monitor with P7 and use my second one to keep something like adobe acrobat or IE open to view tutorials when Im trying out new techniques.I find my laptop with ATI radeon card to be very High Res and nice to work with...It helps to be able to look from one screen to the other.
