Modders working on spider units? Sounds like Tag Utter is trying to revive the Monkeylord.
If it's one of the spider units tag utter showcased months back that will make it into ashes then those were very good and excellent designs which I think will go very well into the game. I'm especially looking forward in seeing what TAG and his modding team will bring to the table though I'm sure

I checked last night and it wasn't there. Just tried it now and it's appeared so all is good. Thanks for the notification Draver, much appreciated I'll give this a go today at some point.

Anychance we can get an eta on when this will arrive or whether we will see it as an opt-in?

Just to clarify, I would have put forth my own balance changes but I would only be adding to this long drawn out process that some would disagree with, infact I disagreed with some of "Never"s balance changes 1 in particular regarding the dreadnaught, but as I mentioned I'd just be adding to the balance requests that are likely to conflict with other peoples requests there needs to be a compromise where people can get together and get the brunt of the changes added. I can on

Balance changes should have been fixed a long time ago. As many have stated there's no shortage of people highlighting the issues and it's simple .txt changes and inputting data a process that takes minutes. We should have really got past the balancing by now but they seem to come in drips and drabs which I personally don't understand the reasoning behind. I'd personally like to see more substantial fixes, suggestions added which I've made and many others hav

My daughter is doing the same but still in school, not college, yet. Not funny I think you picked a good topic there's so many other aspects of gaming, anyway my daughter really enjoys the topic matter she is studying and has learned a lot in her Media Studies group. Anyway, goodluck with this and keep us uptodate on your progress. [e digicons]:)[/e]

I requested an anti-air dreadnaught, infact I strongly suggested we need one but then I thought the moment there's an anti-air dreadnaught it's going to make a fleet of dreads too powerful. It'll unbalance the game and practically make the air units obsolete imo. On paper, it does look like we need an anti-air dreadnaught and it would be good for the game but in reality, I think it would change the game

I'm not surprised it's a hit, every match (game) I've played has been epic (both the wins and looses) and Escalation is such an improvement so congratulations and it's well deserved you've done a great job, really you and the dev team have. 2 more races? That sounds good, I must admit I've never play substrate, and I've been part of the game since alpha (base game). Hopefully the new race(s) will be something I can get on with and
Ashes Escalation v2.0 on Steam. I grouped (as an army) about 10 medics and two Hyperions. As the army sailed off to attack, the medics formed up in a graceful arc in front of the battleships. It was very pretty. Then they were all massacred. It seems that medics usually do stay in the rear of a fighting force, but not always and certainly not here.
On the steam forums (about 2-3 months ago

I've noticed that when you select the engineer the yellow ring that surrounds it letting you know it's selected is now almost transparent, even harder to see when you zoom out. Is this by design or a bug? I'm guessing it's by design but a bit of an issue for me since I have to keep double checking that the engineer is select when a few are bunched and I need to issue orders. Would be nice to get it the way it was where it was more prominent (at full opacity). I

+1 I'm not sure why they are starting to make thins difficult to see but the resource lines seem to be gone, when you select units the yellow marker is almost transparent and the new dark maps are difficult to navigate through. For people such as myself who have bad eyesight this kind of decision is an absolute nightmare. I've created a topic on the steam forums about the yellow marker being almost transparent and even harder/impossible to view when zoomed out and not knowing

This is with regards to the overlaying, overlapping and clumping issue that was present in ashes some months back and now it's back again since the 1.41 update. Ticktoc first mentioned it in a topic and since I've had a stomach bug for the past week I hadn't got the chance to try out the latest update out to make sure it wasn't as bad as before, the overlaying and overlapping is just as bad. As you can see in the first screenshot there's only 3 dreadnaughts y

IMO nobody is at fault here. You made a difficult decision that we knew wouldn't go down well with some but it was stated a tentative release. I personally feel you made the correct decision so that on release we get a rock solid gaming experience, which I for one am very thankful for. Regarding AOTS multiplayer that ashes owners can give away or allow more players is a nice move but your relying on those to dish those out. I would strongly suggest that you ma

I know this is not exactly a direct mod for ashes but it's a resource that others may want to use in their showcase works such as 3d modellers, Since I'm a big fan of ASHES it's may way of giving something back. Feel free to include in your works and modify to suit your needs. TBH I'm not sure whether this was the area to post this or if it was allowed. This will be the first time I've experienced global zoom since I wasn't a player of SOASE so it'll be interesting to see how this fairs out. Nice amount of options which I thought Ashes badly needed and I'm glad that we have a nice bunch of game options to choose from. @Ticktoc - I never noticed that he had atmosphere disabled. Was.t that for the first game? The second game didn't he have atmosphere enabled? I honestly can't remember to be

Yeah, the lightning effects should look nice although I feel the fogging should be denser or at least patches of dense fog in places. TBH, I'm quite excited and looking forward to where you'll take the weather and how far you'll push it into the game with so many creative ideas that you could inject. Weather I feel when it evolves I honestly believe could even impact and play a big part in games, if done correctly and could even significantly give AOTS an edge in thi

I was the same as you a few months ago and shelved the game for a month and a half due to the dreadnaught selection issue (might be a small issue to some but for me it was a showstopper) and I was very critical (in a constructive manner) I'm a strong believer that if people show respect then they should receive it back (referring to the devs). But anyway, I was particularly hard on the game and devs and posted quite a few times because I honestly feel this game has so much potential but I
