You have to leave your current empire first.
The Force
No, I was an Aldarian. Decided to leave since I was the only active player in the empire.
Use Control-N until you get a good starting position.
I had a similar problem a while ago. The pop-up blocker I was using at the time (don't remember which one) would not allow GalCiv to load. I disabled the pop-up blocker and the problem went away. This was a while ago, so it may be fixed now.
Thanks, Moser.
How can I change my email address in my GalCiv account and my Stardock account? I have a new ISP. I am currently keeping the old ISP for my email address, but would like to drop it.
I purchased and downloaded on the same day. No problems. If only I had time to play... (:(
Go to the Main Menu and turn the User Defined Playlist to OFF. I think the default was change to ON in the last build.
tgrz votes aye.
We broke 1000000!
Back to school tomorrow. Probably won't be playing too much for a while...
I was waiting for MOO III. When it came out, it was blasted on the MOO forums. At lot of people on that forum suggested GalCiv.
Wow, I should check the forums more often. Me, a senator. Imagine that! I suppose I should begin Drinking Heavily and Behaving Badly to celebrate. Thanks for the congrats, it took a while to finally win Maso. Top 10, here we come.
Thanks for the welcome, oh mighty leader. April 6 - Aldar's Eve. Celebrated by drinking heavily and behaving badly...
OK, you talked me into it. Hope this helps.
I'm back in school now and do not have time to play anymore so I would not be much help... :(
In my current game, I crash to desktop whenever I try to look at my stats on the domestic policy screen. It is year 2192 on a huge galaxy with 5 intellegent opponents. I did not notice it until after I had saved the game and later reloaded. I have the save game if you need it.
Thanks, guys. Works great!
I have constructed transports, but how do I load troops?
