Um....I may have done something accidently.... I presumed that you three were pressing on, and the only way I could get black smoke's "request to join" off our screen was to briefly admit then delete him from our empire. I think I may have thus accidently made him a free agent. Since I didn't hear from him via email, I presume he wants to continue with GROSS. Can one of you please tell him to re-register with GROSS? Sorry for the stuffing around. :)

Most similar game sites do have multiple forums: 1. General talk 2. Bug reports and tech support 3. Empire/clan forum etc. The question is whether Stardock have the resources and inclination to do this. I agree with Ric - the strat forum is underused, and many of the posts you see should be directed there. The flip side is that it is a small community and the numbers involved may not justify multiple threads. Given players name their threads appropriately, and most do,

Oh my...it's supposed to be the Medal of Honor (ie the Congressional Medal, I presumed - US). I got it from a site Quack suggested (thanks mate - some nice ones there). I've got some more to work through - Silver star, Sgt. stripes, there's actually a "special forces" one and a gold star. The real challenge is getting one that comes up sharp in the forums. The original files are icons and I'm using an icon editor to convert them to .jpgs (my Adobe Photoshop Elements won't load ico files) and it

Have to second kryo on this...does not seem any significant difference to me yet (although limited experience on 1.11) - but I play small maps; may be tougher on the large ones where the minors will expand more aggresively.

Welcome Blade! I too agree regarding the colony 'rush', but I find it a feature of all these type of games, Civ3, etc. EU played on a fixed map is a completely different focus, of course. Map size wont actually make much difference - the economic health of your empire is always going to depend on how many planets you can get (and thus how many people you have working and paying taxes) and there will always be a relative rush to get planets.
