Same here, just to reassure you you're not losing your mind. My game count went up, though, unlike Cypher - I presume that there is a recalc going on and things will register correctly when that is over?
Cypher - re your game, the SAME thing happened to my game yesterday! I submitted a game, it registers as legal on my personal profile...but my personal total score doesn't move. Glad it affects the empire score, but...what gives?

Sorry I've missed the latest - just caught up on the thread. Oooo...recalc...nasty! Oh yeah - bribing at maso, try these little tricks: One time monetary bribes need to be in the order of 500bc in the early to mid game and 1000bc in the later game to induce a change in attitude of the AI towards you, and most bribing DEPENDS on you having a TRADE route with that AI. Try this - give 20bc over 50 months, rather than a single 1000bc bribe; I suspect the effect lasts longe

Hi guys - just to help you out - I proposed just such a system in August last year, and have bumped the thread "Alternative Metaverse ladder" back up to the top for your interest. The debate on how to appriach it and variations on the theme were quite interesting. :)
Given the recent debate in the Diplomat thread, I thought I would bump this back for people's interest - the debate then was quite interesting. :)

Just popped in to say hi! Re the scoring - as vincible says, everyone has been involved in this debate at some time or other. Looking over the latest thread about scoring military victories, while it's an interesting debate, it isn't anything I didn't hear Staffa and Sergei discussing when I first arrived in the Metaverse. The scoring system rewards commitment more than skill, in a sense - if you're dedicated enough to keep submitting games, you'll rise: but to get to the top, you have to submit
