Finally!! AMD has corrected the issue with drivers revision 16.9.2!! I was starting to loose hope...
DOHCtor
I tried the Crazy setting too just for the fun of it and i got a '' Out of memory'' windows error screen... I have 24Gb of RAM... lol!
Personally, Multi GPU works wonders for me in that game. Giving an additional 50-60+% performance. But, i have 2 Gigabyte HD7950 3Gb and if i go higher then the ''High'' graphics presets, it get's kinda slow... GPU-Z show that all of my 3Gb of GPU memory get's used (and then some...) so if you have the 2Gb variant of 270\7850 and you like higher presets\high resolution, i would look for a nice used card on ebay (290\290X\390\390X\Fury\whatever with AT LEAST 4Gb of Vide
Personally i still have the textures bug when i play with the zoom level... perfectly fine vessels textures become squares... Driver revision doesn't change a thing and i don't install that Raptr bloatware!
....Catalyst 16.4.1 installed and the corruption is back... :( Sad as it also cured a bug i had in another game... Can't have my cake and eau it too i guess...
Hi! If you're using Crimson 16.3 or 16.3.1, revert back to 16.2.1! It solved the similar artifacts problem that i had..
Yay! Rolling back to Crimson 16.2.1 cured the issue. 16.3 and 16.3.1 both had that issue..! Sent a mail to AMD about this!
I just updated the Game and now there is that texture bug or something that just appeared at the lowest right portion of the screen that wasn't there before.. Unfortunately, i can't tell if it's the Game update that caused it or the Radeon Crimson 16.3 that i installed at the very same time...
I find that website missleading personally..! Guru3D is way better! ;) If you just got the 7570, maybe you can return it and get something better!
Do you run out of system memory? Do you experience HDD\SSD trashing..? Check the HDD\SSD activity light when it happens... The game takes a good chunk of my 24Gb of Ram when there is a lot of activity! :)
Do you mean i would get more FPS with 1 Geforce and 1 of my Radeons..? If only i could test it without spending $$... In the meantime, i did more tests and at the same exact time where there is la lot of extra Driver Overhead... Boom GPU load drops! (30-80% typical...) ...weird if yo
Had a similar problem. Turns out, the northbridge was overheating from not receiving air from the stock fan now that i'm Watercooled... Rigged a small 60mm Fan with tie-wraps aimed at it and the crash problem is since long gone! Didn't knew chipsets were overheating that much... Mine is a X58 BTW!
Ok. First of all i know that i only have 2 Radeon 7950 for now. (I'm waiting for the red team's latest effort this summer...) And, as they are their first try at Async Shaders, they aren't near as effective as the latest AMD cards (290X, 390X, Fury, etc). But still, it seems strange to me that Async Shadres seems more effective when Mgpu mode is disabled... I mean, it should be twice as effective with 2 cards..? Driver Overhead, driver maturity or game maturity problem maybe..? Cr
You sir Rocks! Crossfire Enabled in Driver! Crossfire Disabled in Drivers! It's still not
From what i read, DirectX 12 should be cutting a whole lot of Driver overhead and it seems to be right with a single card but what about SLI\Crossfire\Hybrid Setups..? I have a whole lot of overhead in Crossfire mode with both my 7950... 1 Card 2 Cards!
If i understood what i read, on DirectX 12, identical cards are working like a single, twice as powerful card. Personally, both my Radeon 7950 are working here. Even without Crossfire bridges! Both your GeForces should be working too.. remember to select the MGPU box from the options panel!
