my aversion to all this is caused by the medium itself - you simply can't have this kind of discussion (which needs the subtleties of real human interaction eg body language, inflection, nuances, twinkles, beer etc)with any kind of 'real understanding'. The spoken word in text form, black and white as it is, can be powerfully misinterpreted. (witness the use of the word 'integrity' for example) Arguing in chat rooms/forums/email is kinda like doing brain surgery with a shovel. Best avoided unles
