I think I know what causes the problem (at least in my case) When I try to use more then 10 specials moduls (like targeting assist), not including drones and carriers, the game crashes. Although I don't like it this is something that is acceptable for me. The system shoud warn and not crash.

I have the same problems wich I didn't have before the update. I use a Insane map and it happens with Huge ships. I have a hull-size > 680. The problem occurs when I use special equipment like Missile disruptors. It happens every time when I try to use this things on large ships (Huge). Making advanced huge ships is therefore not possible. I use Windows 10 -16k Ram. The games just crashes.
