I'd like to see the ability to have MORE THAN ONE effect on an event. I'd also like to have the ability to set a minumum and maximum value that the random value is supposed to be between. I'd also like to see 'capitalization', where when you choose to 'build nothing' you don't waste that planet's share of the money for Military/Social build que. [Message Edited]
Anyway, that lets people know at a glanceif they need to check out the thread for a new reply, your biggest concern
OK, I had guessed that but wasn't quite sure. In part this is because the icons don't seem to work correctly all the time. This thread is a case in point, I created it, yet I did not get the 'new posts' icon when I came back. Perhaps there could be an icon guide added somewhere... perhaps a popup window?? Because I have figured out what s
Then how come the very directions I got from the download site say it is? I have them right here in front of me It says previous patches and mods. Although it looks like a standard disclaimer type thing, so admittedly, that might not be QS's doing.
You have hit upon it in one try. It's a standard disclaimer almost certainly written by somebody who didn't know jack squat about what was going on. Come to think about it, that's not all that uncommon in ANY busines

Well... QSI has, unfortunately, made complete fools of themselves repeatedly. That said, they do not deserve to be bashed over this. Because you are wrong, the patches are ***NOT*** incompatible. They simply aren't. Previous *MODS* are incompatible. NOT the data patch. The problem is most people do not know how to unzip the code patch properly to get it to work. Now this, QSI does deserve to get bashed on, because they should have released a single EXE to do the patch, and not doi

LV is right on the money. The Orion Sector is actively seeking to add to our GalCiv section. If you would like us to host any of your fan projects, email me at [email protected] robhunt [at] orionsector [dot] com. We are also planning a modding guide and a strategy guide for the near future. If you want to contribute to either of those, drop me a line. Oh we would probably also be interested in pursuing #1 and #3 if I can obtain the code to a previous project that

The Orion Sector has been working on improving our GalCiv section, and one of the things I've been adding is a list of as many demo download sites as I can find. I'll add the ones in this thread as soon as I can, but if any of them don't work for you, check out www.orionsector.com/pages/galciv/ for a complete list of all mirrors I've found. Hopefully between the seven or so on the list at least one ought to work for you...
