Yrag- I'm thinking of trying "Object DeskTop" before buying it and in order to avoid conflicting programs I thought I'd ask a few questions. 1. Do I need to unload or un-install WB. 2. Do I need to install "Stardock Central" or is it part of "Object DeskTop"? 3. Is Stardock Central the same thing as "Control Center"? 4. If I like it and decide to purchase it will I have to un-install it prior to the "paid for" version? Sorry for all the questions I just don't w
Lady Aarielle
Hmmm, I don't think that's it. It is just like the one Ms. Kquinn has on her desktop pic when you click on her name.
Thanks again, Yrag
I'm not sure I know what you mean. What is "bump"? Isn't she trying to find it as well... sounds like she doesn't know where to find it or did I miss something?
Since he uses single taskbar you just see the time but since I use doulble high taskbar the date shows under the time.... and like he said you can make it wider to show the seconds or narrower.
Yep...THAT'S the ONE!!!!
Ooooopps........ I hadn't looked at kquinn's pic but that's the clock I'm talking about!! He has it on his pic!!
Yrag- kquinn is looking for the exact same clock I'm looking for and his description is exactly where mine was and how it functioned. Is there an archive of "Daily Shots"?
I'm trying to remember it may have had other featrures but not many... I really only used the clock.
NO, I had to change it according to whatever color scheme I had on. Is there an archive of all the past "Daily Shots"? I may have seen it on there recently or about a month or so ago.
NO, it just had the time and date under it, and I liked it because you could change the color of the digital clock to match whatever skin you were using. I had it on the right hand side of the taskbar right next to where the hidden icons and WindowsXP clock are (but I had the regular clock disabled).
OK. thanks Yrag. Did you notice the clock I had on all the pics I sent you on the other thread? Well, that's the one I'm looking for... long time ago someone asked a skin designer about the digital clock he had... The author told the person to right click on the task bar and add the clock... so I did same and used it ever since. I never downloaded any clock that's why I thought perhaps, it was from one of the WC programs.
It was free because the only programs I paid for were WindowBlinds, IconPackager, and WC subscription.
I had the "Digital Clock" on my taskbar for a long time but after a system recovery I can't remember how I got it or what program has it.... can anyone help?
Koasati- Never occured to me anyone would be as green as I am about these matters and want to read my threads.
No problem Koasati
Hi Crazy Travis, I did have it. I remember I was reading the comments on some skin a long time ago and someone asked the author about the digital clock he had... The author told the person to right click on the task bar and add the clock... so I did it and used it ever since. But, with the recovery I lost it and can't figure out how to get it back. Like I promised Yrag I cleaned house and the only program I have right now is WindowBlinds. To tell you the truth I don't know what progr
No, I'm talking about a digital clock... I had the one that comes with WindowsXP disabled.
Hi all- I had to do a system recovery.... so can anyone tell me how to get the digital clock back on the task bar... I can't seem to find it.
Hi Yrag- I have one more question. The ONLY thing I have downloaded so far is WindowBlinds (I haven't installed 'IP' or 'WC Browser' yet) and look at all the stuff (see pic) that got loaded into all programs.... is that normal? Oh, BTW, I just did a full system recovery that I was planning on doing.... the only thing that I downloaded prior to WB was my firewall other than that it's squeaky clean.
WOW Thanks Yrag!! Coool!!
Is this it? aarielle scratching head wondering what she's doing
Great Koasati, thank you!
OK, I got it now. Will do.... I'll probably get ObjectDeskTop soon. While I've gotcha here (don't run ) but, how do I load a pic here instead of having to load it as my desktop picture. In other words I don't know how to use the insert image thing.
I neglected to say that I started having problems downloading WindowBlinds before I started trying these other programs so at the risk of sounding very obtuse... I still don't understand the underlying problem. Gary, I would like to thank you very much for helping me out again and hope you don't have a migraine. Thank you again and I'm on my way to cleaning house.
