Gyah, You posted that after I already updated it.. back to the drwaing board I guess :notsure:
I would love to get a nice purple saber color, I haven't found a different handle that catches my fancy yet, if anybody has a link to some sites that have handles, that'd be great.
You saber is now purple. As for your options for different handles, you can see all the ones I already have (not all of them are still in use anymore) here http://jedi.galciv.org/sabers.jpg . I think all the ones that obiwan found he got all from one picture that already had them that size. Min
Anybody who wants a member bit changed with avatar/handle/saber color (particularly icho since he's council now) needs to let me know so I can fix up a picture while I'm still feeling like working on the site. Since everything is already in order and the main roster ranks are now modularized, it'll only be a matter of my changing and reuploading the picture.
And I saw them both, so Arcilte is now the proud new captain of the Defiant (sorry Worf). The update is finished already, check the site for details! :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT: :CONGRAT:
I might not be in the evil empire but I am evil and I felt like making a submission for your new icon: http://jedi.galciv.org/evil3.gif Hope ya like it eh? :)
With any luck things will be getting back to normal tomorrow with the end of the holidays and I'll get that much-needed update in, so any last minute requests need to be down ASAP.
I wouldn't say that, it's just that there was just so much College Football going on today
Don't tell me we're turning into MWC... ;)
Hmm, starbase 3-space limit has been removed as well. I don't think I have seen this mentioned in the list of changes.
I haven't played recently so I can't be certain, but back in 1.11 I encountered several instances where the AI did not obey that rule... Cari was working on it last I knew, so maybe they decided to take it out until they can make the AI play by the rule too?
That's gotta be a first. Mayito resisting the big post on another empire's thread LOL LOL
Well if we vote on Icho as councilman I'll see if I can't pull together a Christmas update on the website to cover all the ups and downs in the roster of the past month. It's just a matter of pulling myself away from D2 and Battlegrounds long enough to do it ;)
Stardock is in Michigan, and the site is hosted on a server somewhere on the east coast (Atlanta I think..)
And the Jedi fall back to where they were previous to all the hopping...
I said that war was wrong!
The result would have been the same either way. In fact, we're probably slightly less pancake-shaped than we otherwise would be because if not for the war I probably wouldn't have bothered to submit a game and add 30k to the empire score--but the euros would have steamrolled us regardless ;)
That declaration should have read:
All your base are belong to us. You are on the way to destruction. You have no chance to survive make your time. HA HA HA.
LOL LOL LOL
a sword is just that, a sword, it makes you tired very quickly, it only moves as fast as you can move your arm, and its range is only as far as you can hold it out with your arm
That is true. But not of a lightsaber. Realise that a lightsaber is light--the blade has no weight, so it is only as heavy as the pommel. Likewise it can be swung with a simple snap of the wrist. The Force allows the Jedi to move quicker than the blink of an eye, anticipating his enemy's every mov
It takes round about 12 Constructors if i counted correctly, + some for Base Defence and stuff
Actually that's a lot more than you need. If you keep out of wars (just keep the AI fighting each other and not you, more trade money that way too!) you don't need defense modules, and the earlier culture modules aren't really worthwhile unless you need every last bit. All you really need is 6 constructors to build straight to a palace, then squeeze as many starbases i
Heh. I was in the RoN beta, and after I got GalCiv I just never thought it worthwhile to buy the retail version of RoN ;)
A good strategist don't even need to built Excalibur ships
Largely because if you get there before the AI (which is assured on all but maso), you can declare war on all AIs, and annihilate them with only a handful of Excaliburs set to auto-attack...
The Psychlo Sith seems to have returned...
Stars! aah i remember that game. still got it in my library. if i remember correctly, it required a bl***y huge screen resolution or you couldnt see everything. played with that game for months when first got it. did you get the pack where you got a second one free?
I loved stars! too... Unfortuantely the sequel got mothballed for lack of publisher. Maybe we can petition Brad to offer them publishing so Stars Supernova can see the light of day?
Most mobos anymore need no jumper configuration, so all you'd need to worry about as far as jumpers go is setting up your drives for master/slave.
I just bought a dell
A bit of advice: don't. I buy my computers from the best place I possibly can--I build them myself ;)
Regardless the circumstances, all I do whn the AI throws me a 1 morale planet is rush a colony ship and launch all but one of the people until I get the morale imps back up. Although a big colony ship like that is also good for use as a culture bomb too ;)
didn't you ever stop to think that maybe Bill Gates is on my payroll?
More likely you are on his . Anybody with two neurons firing knows that the Vole is the most evil living organism in the universe. ;)
