Game crashes immediately upon starting it in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

Hi everyone. Hope someone can help with this problem. The game was working fine yesterday, butt his morning when I clicked on "Play Game", it looks like it'll start fine but then crashes to the desktop (there is a little pane at the bottom of the toolbar, as though it were minimized, but when I click on it, it "tries" to open but just crashes back to the desktop). I updated to the 1.03A patch, but no change. I changed my resolution, shut off anti-virus and firewall, still no luck. I use
