This thread's full of nice ideas that'd make playing a whole lotta smoother. One way to implement it would be to add two buttons, "even it up with cash" and "even it up with influence", more fittingly named of course. I agree, been thinking about leasing (especially Mitrosoft) being somewhat broken ever since I got the game. It's like you never actually have to play it all off. I never find myself leasing from anyone else but Mitrosoft - whatever I lease helps me in enough ways (usually straight through economy) that it's easy to grow more than the small monthly leasing cost takes in the long term. I agree, as far as GUI goes, zoom is pretty much everything I'd want. It's so easy to lose track when manually moving fast ships currently. >:(
