Remove Alt+drag and drop create folder portal in Fences Stardock Forums

I often times use alt+drag and drop to quickly create shortcuts onto my desktop (or even directly into a fence). Problem is fences changes the function. Is there a way to disable or change key that creates folder portal?

Allow changing or disabling hotkeys/features in Fences Stardock Forums

When ever I try to drag and drop a folder/s to the desktop (with alt key pressed) and do NOT want to make a folder portal. It would be wonderful if there was a way to alleviate this problem.
