not on sites that hope to thrive. how many skin authors are gonna post skins to a site where the admins are going to ridicule their submission? thats the beauty of the free market. lots of choices. lots of people have said they aren't gonna go there. i know i don't. if i want to read kiddies flaming each other there are lots of better sites i could go to do that.

the style xp trolls used to spread fud about wb being a slow buggy thing. hell the style xp page still implies that 'other' with 'other' being wb no doubt slows down your system with system hooks. what a load of crap. i don't have xp so i don't care but anyone that anal about performance should be using no skinning at all.

i didn't read hamster's remarks in saying there is no community. quite the contrary. i read his remarks as saying that giving money to tgtsoft supports no community in particular. do you disagree? if so, what community is tgtsoft supporting and how? as fb says, even stardock, which does very overtly support communities of users, doesn't use that tactic. when you act like a charity you raise the bar. where does that 20 bucks go? what support are they giving with that money?
