I was wandering is the Halut Pack any good? I already downloaded the Omega Pack, and I like that one but does the Halut Pack have alot of good features in it?

Oh darn, I forgot all about that thread! I'm sorry I did not, and would not wan't the metaverse reset to zero. Your right Weyrleader that would be wrong to do that, and I'm sorry I didn't think about what I was saying, like I said I'm just a stupid newb and my input probably doesn't matter. :notsure:

Thanks Icho Tolot, I've already downloaded the Graphic Editing Suit, and since I have MDI Photo Suite I can also customize the ships! But I have yet to learn how to get my own custom model in the Galciv writer... any help appretiated.
I've recently downloaded the galciv writer, and I was wandering how do you get (or make) a picture to put in the game so that the ship doesn't look like another ship in the game? I'm mean I know I could just use like the phoenix picture or something like that, but I wanted it to look unique and cool; so that's why I was wandering.

I just downloaded the galciv writer on my computer, and when I succesfully install it and try to start it up... it doesn't work! (:( It brings up a message that says something like this: Unable to find program file .dll ........ .dll or something like that. I don't know what it was called exactly , but I didn't know if someone else had the same problem and could help me. Thanks in advanced.
I think that if you could copy all files into a folder(s), you should be able to tell your computer to burn them to a CD. Just make sure that the CD has enough space on it (memory) to be able to hold it all! Also be sure not to leave out any files, exe., or anything like that! Hope some of this was helpful. :)

I got the omega pack, by : Icho Tolot;(hope I spelled it right! ;) ) But anyway when I first got it I couldn't get it to work, I even posted a post on the forum called: "How do you tell?" But I've finally figured it out!!! :D I also know what I was doing wrong, so if this can help someone else with the same problem then thats great! Hey there I have a question about AP (Altarian Prophecy). Is the game worth the money, effort, time and everything like that? What I mean is, is it fun? I've heard that the campaign isn't that great, but I thought that the added features and game tweaks would make it an even more fun expierence. But anyway I was just wandering if anyone could give their "overall" expierience with that game! Thanks for your time! :)

I don't know whats with the AP thing, but I did get a game where I was going to lose and then mammo next turn it ended the game with a military conquest victory! Yeah thats right Raven it is an addictive game! Just keep trying, you'll get up there but most of all have fun and learn new things in every game you play of GalCiv! ;) (P.S.: I'm pretty new to this game too, I've only had it for a year and I learned to keep trying and have as much fun as I can! I just downloaded a mod called Omega pak or something like that, anyway how do I know I installed it correctly and that the new techs, features, and such are in the game now? I put all of the files in the mod/data folder where it said to,but I just can't tell if it's working correctly or not! LOL Thanks for speedy anwsers!
