A friend and I are going to set up a VPN tomorrow and try out lan play I'll let yall know how it goes. I am not having much problems in stardocks mp, except only being able to play cruicble in patheon games and just the length of time to get a game started. Just to clarify the VPN we live about 30 minutes driving from each other.
I agree the health bar needs to be fixed, chasing ppl down when looks like one or two hits they will go down, only to end up following to far and getting gang raped. I only made that mistake once, just once lol.

I finished a 3 Hard AI game against myself the other day on the biggest mulit random map. Not a single surrender even when I took the very last planet, but usually AI surrenders way before it seems logical. Ironclad support has pretty much stood by its previous statement I have posted. I have sent them several issues with game 3 of which are messed up resources after aquiring many planets if you try to mouse over the said resource you will get a bunch of planets at
it takes less than 5 minutes to post something. And you don't take down live servers until the patch is finished and ready to be applied. This isn't WoW where you have a ton of racks, complex databases, and such and still most of their down times were less than 8hrs.
3 hrs and no word from dev or anything why the servers are down? This is not a flame or anything just seems a little strange considering its a weekend. Well back to single player game. Had all the favor items somehow after playing multiplay I have lost all my favor items in single player.

You can't change sides till the pantheon is over. Once it starts again from my understanding you can choose a different side. I did the same thing i just chose a side right fast to get into the action and found out later that i was stuck with that sides 4 chars.
I woke up an hr ago to play and find that i can't get a game going. :( Its Saturday! Bah I guess I can be bored with single player for a while.
As of early Friday I am not able to click on my name in the rankings, also I am unable to click on others names either to bring up the details. I have not changed anything on my end. I tried again just a few minutes ago. So I am going on 18 hrs or so not able to do this where it worked prefectly fine before early friday. Is this a known issue or is it just me and what can I do to help trouble shoot/fix problem? Thanx in advance.

You can always change you login name for impulse to the name you would want to use in demigod. Just click on your forum name after you post and go to profile you have option to change your user name. Also I like that my forum handle is the same as my in game handle, I have nothing to hide lol. And if some one trash talks me in game I don't hold that against anyone, I find it very humors and adds to the game play experience.

I like the game speed on normal, yes it does make walking to the action or to base a little long winded. This game to me is a strategy game and I am not a click fest person. I'm old I don't have the reflexes of a cat lol. It gives time to learn your opponent and the combat is slow enough to learn your opponent and react accordingly. If I wanted a click fest I would go play a fps (which I rarely due cause click fest are boring). Just my 2 cents.
Sorry i didn't see it. The forums have a lot of complaining about the mp issues and flame wars right now lol and life is to short to spend an hour trying to find out if something has already been posted. I read the other thread and I still believe that the ok button needs to be removed. Also at this point if you leave the game do you get a loss in rankings cause of other player getting desync?
There is a dialog that pops up with an ok button stating name of player that is desyncing this was a patheon game. Everytime the dialog came up you could not issue commands could not move and the darn dialog came up every second. This continued to happen for about 10 to 15 minutes. Something is defiantly messed up in the rankings. If you look at your top listed player razattack1337 right now. Now I am not saying he is a bad player or anything, but there is defiantly an exploit here. If you look at all of his/her games 95% of them are all 1 to 2 minute games. Maybe I am just missing something...
Hi Bara, I played 4 custom games this morning (only 1 had a disconnect and none had any AI). In my rankings it only shows that I have played 2 games (1 won, 1 lose). I won 3 lost 1. One of the won ones was a disconnect, but the player came back maybe a minute or less later. But that still doesn't account for the other 1 won that just don't show up. Just so you know its not just disconnects causing games not to show up.

I have a sound blaster xtremegamer x-fi, drivers are up to date. I have never had sound poping noises, including supcom, i have a pent 4 3ghz processor. Only time i get sound popping noises in Demigod is in the single player tournament after you beat one of the maps and the scores show up and you select continue to go to the next map. There is a popping scratchy type noise but it only last a split second.

We need more favor items, That was way to easy to aquire them all. Also someone in another post said that favor items are different depending on what character you play so that they are character dependent so they are suited for that class. I purchased all the favor items with queen of thorns in 8 to 10 hrs or play switched to Oak char and all the favor items are already purchased. If you have some mobs/minions around you and try to place a spirit flag it doesn't place I have tried up to 5 times to get it placed. I think it has something to due with collisions of flag with mobs or minions I am not sure though. But sometimes after trying to place the flag a few times game just closes to desktop. Is there an offical place to send bugs (e-mail different forum) or is this forum read by GPG support? I was unpacked the entire time as I killed demigods the unpacked and packed achievement progressed at the same time and completed at the same time.
I have alway pirate to try games out before I buy to many developers now adays either release a game thats not well thought out or tons of bugs (should of been in beta still). And all the retail stores refuse to refund money back for opened boxed and the company that is supporting the game says to talk to your retailer for the refund. Kinda of a catch 22.
