Never seen this before............but as the front page of WC was loading for me a few minutes ago the pop-up in the link below came up. Needless to say it is very very suspicious . Really.........did they really think I'd fall for that install/update a video HD Player..........but the webpage does look similar to an Adobe design. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK and DO NOT CLICK "INSTALL NOW"....

I think the payment method is an interesting option - especially as Stardock may well bring in new customers who do not want to pay the full cost up front. It will be interesting to see how this turns out and whether the customer base increases which could also bring in more badly needed skinners. This could be a win-win. I hope its a success.
I wonder what Brad will have up his sleeve when he starts studying the preview version? [e digicons]

Have fun with 8.1.........I've been enjoying it for some time now and much prefer it to 7. Explore the Windows App store and pick up some enhancements.
This is another reason to continue to use Chrome. There have been malicious unsupported extensions that have hijacked, crippled, and compromised system security. Like anything else, the bad guys have made it harder on those that do the right thing. I for one am grateful that Google has taken this action.
Exactly.......could not have said it better [quote who="kona01
Had the same issue yesterday............MWB would not fire up until I rebooted..........weird..........running windows 8.
I found another way of reducing memory usage by Firefox several years ago...........uninstall it.

My two year old, Miss Ellie knows her way round our iPad better than I do...............
If the laptop is that infected you should really start afresh...........She needs peace of mind. You can never guarantee you'll get all the viri or malicious software by just throwing malwarebytes and all those other programs at it. Back up all her stuff and clean re-install from the recovery partition. If she does not have a recovery partition order replacement discs from Lenovo...........Don't take a chance..........Backup then clean and re-install.
Now where's Brad?..........He started all this many moons ago [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Hey Doreen..........I was just thinking the same........ChinaCat and iPlural.........these message boards rocked with those two. In those days Jafo would hand out some good spanking's to anyone who got out of line........great times!

A lot of people reported the battery drain issue but then after a few days it seemed to settle down........... My Nokia Lumia phone is my first Windows Phone experience and I'm really enjoying it..............Android is so 'second rate' in comparison. I'm going to be getting a new phone from work and it will be an iPhone although I'm trying to persuade to let me have a Lumia.
Just saw this.................... http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/scan-websites-heartbleed-google-chrome-browser-extension/#!Evj2D With all the stories going around this extension could be quite useful for those of you that use Chrome as your web browser. Just been trying it out on various websites and it gave a caution on one............. You'
