430.64 installed and worked fine. I found 430.39 was not a problem after unchecking, then re-checking GSync. 430.64 I found I can cause to stutter using Alt-Tab to Windows, then back to Ashes. No issue with Alt-Tab if I leave G-Sync unchecked. Mostly a curiosity at this point, except knowing I don't dare Alt-Tab in game because I didn't pony up for the G-Sync video card and monitor to leave it off.

Uncheck "Enable GSync" in the nVidia Control Panel resolved the stutter issue with DX12.
I did the nVidia "clean" install process. Also tried a few different video/window settings. Still always get video stutter unless I launch with the safe button.
Easy to reproduce, just hit "Play" from Steam launcher to get stutter, hit "Safe" to get smooth. Game has not had issues on this hardware before. The menu background and game map are flashing since GeForce 430.39 installed 4/23/2019. Playing safe mode does not have the issue. Asus GeForce GTX 1070, GeForce Experience 3.18.0.102.
Thanks for posting this, extremely frustrating to see I can't do any subsequent Escalation missions.
I've realized the score doesn't matter so much, have to check the microscopic timer in the upper right. I made it to the 5 dreadnought assault at 27+ minutes, normal setting. Hope that is decent?
I am playing PHC vs. Substrate AI, can crush him at will one level below normal. On normal, I am clearly having map superiority when I am suddenly steam rolled by excessively large armies and quickly lose whether I focus on offense or defense. Looking at the graphs, we are mostly even, then he has a series of huge Metal resource spikes on the chart, and one Radioactive resource spike. Is there a resource drop feature I don't know about, or is normal getting a bonus to en
