In the new AP I have seen many of them flip rather quick, depends how many planets of the AIs are around them. But I have seen some minors last until the year 2188, so that is pretty long and they ended by been conquered so maybe some of them stay longer, all depends on the circunstances and location. ;) Xietor 11 your name sounds like the galactic pirate so why don't you come and join GROSS pirate empire here is the link http://www.galciv.com/metaverse/empires.asp?id=272
Also another good sugestion would be to ask the AI to remove their ships from your space after you have conquered another planet. 355 billions is just the down payment to start the mission, the 355 trillion will come from donations received by the RSPUSS from special donors from the IRS and other areas of the galaxy. LOL LOL LOL

Great idea. will be nice if you could have a small box that will pop when you press a particular key like "s" for score and you see what your score is going to be at that particular moment if the game ends, but the only thing is that you have different choices of winning methods.

Also sometimes even if you are close when you propose alliance they will not accept except you throw some bones into the deal, couple of techs or money. You can do that by adjusting the bars in the Governor screen, set military to 100$ and the other 2 to zero, click under economy and you can adjust the sliders there.
I am sticking with J, it works fine for me, no bugs on it. ;)
