It will happen with CTRL+A, that's an attack move. Units will move and attack anything that gets within range as they make their way towards the destination. Clicking on a unit or structure with CTRL+A will not result in them priority targeting that unit or structure. Right click is an attack order. Units will attack the building you clicked on. Can we please have it that they will engage any hostiles at the power generator, I.e. Neutral defenders, instead of them being shot up as they slow down for arrival. Our shoot anything as they still move to a destination.

The game saves every 3 minutes IIRC. Thats reliable in a timing sense. Make your own saves, which for any type of RTS is a must to avoid such problems. Yes the AI will love to bombard you with orbitals, the later in the game you go. You really must make use of orbital nullifiers, or don't sit on the power generators without orbital nullifiers. Hi, Which missions are you struggling on? It may help if you are more detailed and specific. I have played through the campaign and didn't come have the problem of only being able to put down a drone swarm on a power generator or being invincible/ignored by anti air. Was it a particular mission?
In Escalation, at least one of the dreadnoughts have an upgrade option for anti air.

How are your verifying your income? If you are just relying on the +/- value displayed on the resource overlay then that is not a good indication. Mouse over the metal icon on the overlay so it shows you the breakdown and overall income. The overall income is what you should be looking at. I just tried the boost, on the Turtle Wars map, and the income rate increased.

If you listen to Mac, at the start of the mission, he explains that there is some sort of problem which prevents you from putting down any anti-ground defences. On this mission, the best defence is a good offence.
Could be one has better components than the other, i.e. Motherboard, Memory, etc.
