Of course, you could go and look at JohnKerry.com and figure out what his views are. But that would take more effort than making asinine statements. Cheers

I'm not advocating universal healthcare, I'm merely pointing out the falacy in the arguement. Cheers

This is one of those things that people don't understand, and is really never explained to anyone. The laws about healthcare aren't really like that. Yes, you may have debt if you have a big healthcare bill, but you will not go broke or get bad credit because of it. If you make regular payments to the hospital (even if they ar

I'm pretty sure they're putting all their effort right now into Galciv AP beta, that's one of the reasons Brad hasn't been as visible recently. Cheers

Oh, and I could call myself the leader of the Christian Capitalist Democratic Party, and be a dictator, dictators just like to use names which give them an air of legitimacy. Cheers again

Actually, it's more accurate to say that Socialism, Marxism, and Communism are spheres that occasionally overlap. Marxism is the teachings of Marx, which preached a version of communism, which he believed was the only one, it attempted to take the ideals of a communist society, see next, and put it into a large group. Communism is when a group of people come together to form a cooperative group, or commune, not taking any wages, but making th

jeblackstar: Sounds like reefer madness. Do you have proof? I'll try and find the newspaper articles. They're old and I don't save my newspapers. That combined with the fact that the local paper doesn't have internet archives. Cheers

Ah yes, no child left behind, a program which admits that they are in fact leaving children behind. It's really easy to spend money on rich white kids, the place where most state and county money goes. No Child Left Behind? Yeah right. Cheers

Ummm, actually they know they were using marijuana because the joints were lit and in the car with them. One of the men was a thirty year old exec. Two were kids of wealthy families, and the last one was a hippy. So far, three fourths of the people arrested a charged with murder didn't fit your rule of loser stoner types. Cheers

I'm telling you it does, it limits judgement and distorts perspective. What happens when you drive with marijuana? Well, in Eugene, in the last few years, four people have been killed in automobile related accidents where at least one of the drivers was using marijuana. But, as a plus for the marijuana users, none of the killed were using marijuana. Cheers

4. Why don't you not research Dien Bien Phu - that triggered the Vietnan War? The French can't fight - only talk ummm, Nooo, the war was triggered by multiple events starting at the beginning of the twentieth century, it came to a head after the second world war when the various colonies in Southeast As

Cannabis itself actually helps the brain function because cannabinoids lock into cannabinoid receptors inherent in our brains and makes brain function more flowing and quick (explains why many stoners have racing thoughts, incredible music abilities, fast computer skills, etc etc etc). I don't know where the fallacy that all poth

Plus, one of the duties of the president is to, from time to time, suggest legislation to the congress. True, the legislative branch passes it, but the president, and anyone else, can come up with some ideas. Since the president is the leader of the party, usually, it only makes since that he would make suggestions for bills to the legislature. So it's kind of silly to suggest that EVERY PRESIDENT SINCE WASHINGTON, has been acting outside the purvie

jeblackstar my friend - the Bill of Rights are amendments to the Constitution. One US Constitution. True, true, it is the first ten amendments to the constitution, but since they don't actually change anything in the text of the constitution I think it's pretty safe to count them as apendum, which they were, and therefore seperate.

Well, I, like Brad, am all for unisex toilet's and locker rooms, but, and let's face it here, the reason there are different departments is because there are different styles. However, how many men would be willing to wait in the same line women do in order to use a public bathroom? Cheers

oh, all forgiven then. Presbyterians don't hold with that belief either, but some evangelical groups do, sort of anyway, they still believe in the death penalty for capital cases, and lesser punishments for people who convert while in prison. Cheers

Yes, but does it cause serious damage or death? No, it doesn't, despite the lies and propaganda the government has put out on it. Marijuana actually does kill brain cells, the one cells in your body, by the way, which don't grow back.
