hey, no need to be rude, I'm not a hypochristian, and I don't believe in a hell, but you wanted chapter and verse so I provided it, I didn't say it was true, you however said it didn't exist, don't go claiming it's fairy tales once you get proven wrong. Cheers
jeblackstar
Ahhah, got it, Revelation 21:8. Cheers
Can't find it, and I'm going to bed, but I'm sure it's in there somewhere. And I spent two years studying it pretty well. Tomorrow when I'm at my office I'll dig out my old study bible and see if I anotated it. Cheers
The Hail mary's and our father's catholicism? Hold on, I'll look it up. Cheers
He's right. Humanity may consider theft and murder different, but according to the bible all sins are equal in God's eyes
::massages forhead:: Brad, you apply a universal "income source" for the federal government, even when you break it down in your other post. Yes, to balance a budget programs must be cut, from every department to use a corporate phrase, but you also have to raise taxes, because there reaches a point, and the state of Oregon is reaching it, where there is no more fat to cut and there's still a deficit. You need to face the fact that social pr
The last time the French intervened in a colonial war started the Vietnam War, I think they may have learned their lesson. Cheers
Once again Messy, I think this is probably the only thing we agree on, but I'm glad for it. Cheers
In the eyes of the world, which is more important the Declaration of Independence or the U. S, Constitution? Both of them are important, but in your core beliefs, which do you think is more important in the eyes of the world? The U.S. constitution, without it we would still be a bunch of squabbling stat
Well, since I'M an alien from Venus and I never saw him at any of the conventions, how's that for proof? ::grin::
He's got a point, I wasn't going to vote for Bush before, and now I'm really not going to vote for Bush. Cheers
Besides, the actual problem with inbreeding, comes not from sharing genetic material with siblings, though that still sounds pretty gross to me, but with relations that are one step further removed, your aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. Oh, and just because the DECLERATION of INDEPENDENCE, which, though in important document, is not the document upon which our government is founded. Even the Articles of Confederation, which was the government bef
yeah, loud music and anal sex have very little chance for death and/or serious brain damage when abused...
Perhaps you misunderstand, unlike burning the flag, the US navy, which publishes a book on Flag ettiquette specifically lists waving the flag upside down as a symbol of distress. Should we hold up the US navy book and say that it is morally repugnant because it recommends waving the flag upside down?
Hrm, I had assumed that the federal government would recognize civil unions like any other. I dunno, the whole "Full Faith & Credit" thing has always confused me, as anything that doesn't seem to be written, only understood. I can't remember what I had to present when my wife and
The problem is not that they could be abused, but the harmful side effects that all drugs, eventually have. Cheers
The Law of the United States of America permits the flag to be flown upside down. How much more do you need GCJ?
That does seem to be the big problem with capitalism for sure. Profits are all well and good, but there eventually comes a point when this is self-defeating. We reached it during the Dust bowl when the Okies went to California, and they ended up as virtual slaves to the farmers. Cheers
You admitted that the defense spending was within the realm of possibility for the deficit, but even if I am incorrect about that, I was pointing out that most social programs are not paid for by the percentage that you pay in income tax. You pay x% in income tax, then, also taken out of your paycheck is an amount for social security and medicare. If you can convince people that you want to increase the x%
Obviously you are talking about Jonesville, but what the heck does that have to do with anything said here? Cheers
I'm sure you are right jeblackstar because when I look at the upside down American flag, I become very distressed. Soldiers in Iraq say they are happy to be there. Alas, some people miss the point, it is to indicate that the person flying the flag upside down is distressed. I would be very surprise
As I've said before, there is nothing illegal, immoral, or unamerican about holding a flag upside down. The law states that an american flag held or flown upside down indicate distress. As I've said, this is a symbol of the distress that Kerry and other veterans felt about the Vietnam War. Cheers
I'll be, something I agree with Messy on! Cheers for that. Cheers
::laughs:: Thank god for you russell, I was beginning to think I was the only one who saw a hole the size of a gas guzzling SUV in aconservative's theory. Cheers
absolutely. Cheers
