i had an event that made every planet in sol except earth raised by 9 pq, so one of the planets became 23 :) ~SDC~

i'm still a newbie (only played about 5 or 6 games & 3 to completion) but i found that if i keep taxes & spending at 100% from the start of the game untill you first have a negative amount of money you can then lower the tax rate to around 50% and have 70 to 100 moral for most of the game. it's also a good way to pump out colony ships if you play with the military spending slider. it's worked for the last 2 games of the 5 games i have played so far anyway :) ~SDC~

the new patch fixed it for me, they did it a lot quicker than i thought they would be able to too :) ~SDC~

i'm guessing ctd means crash to desktop & i have that problem with governers well, i posted in the bugs thread before. he will probably get a few emails so i wont bother sending my saved game for the moment unless he wants it. i tried resetting my pc & starting a new game & got the same thing again so it's repeatable. ~SDC~

i have the same problem as Code Monkey, i just got the new 1.05.068 patch & started a new game. after i colonised the first suitable planet i got to i remeberd to use the governor & it crashed to the desktop when i double clicked on the soil improvement. ~SDC~
