im sorry, that taskbar looks incredibly wrong, there is clearly something wrong with bothsoftwares as Windows Blinds hasn't been updated in forever, especially considering it's 24H2 and there's been changes to the themeing system.

What i've noticed is devs from the software (stardock is trying to make compatible) go out of there way to make sure their software isn't capable with Start11/Windows Blinds11
So the idea is to implement the "Let Start11 Enhance Taskbar" option from Windows 11 - Windows 10, which basically does the opposite of its goal for windows 11. - Give the taskbar the same height as windows 11 - Taskbar button's similar to windows 11 - New System Tray (Not sure what the devs could do, but maybe add the rounded corners/floating? - Acrylic Jumplists - Widgets on the left of the taskbar when centered (that reveals the full widget for examp
still waiting for the option to change taskbar height in pixels!
Really hoping they add the Windows 8 start screen sometime soon. Like legit start screen, not the win 10/11 in full screen. I want my picture on the right side, along with the all programs, I want my desktop thumbnail. They used to have a program for it, but its not updated.
its not the best work around but, I suggest ExplorerPatcher to use the windows 10 taskbar. Then TranslucentTB to restore the acrylic blur, I use it instead. works on multi monitors, and u can use 7Taskbar Tweaker to restore the 32px icons
type in the search box and youll see what I mean, type "control" so you get the scrollbar
So (this is probably more for the skinstudio fourm, but it affects start11), is there anyway to change the scrollbar in search? If so I can't find it. I have the scrollbar skinned, on the image clear on the right you can see the skinned one. While the middle one (circled horribly in red) its the windows 11 one. (Also is there a way to have the placelist show in search mode like vista? I figured not so I just made a fake one which im satisfied with). <img src="https://cdn.stardoc
Microsoft Windows Version 22H2 (OS Build 22621.1992) Start11 version 1.47 Windows Blinds 11.02 Appears on all themes (atleast all of them I tried) No
Hoping this gets fixed soon Windows 11 22H2 64bit WindowsBlinds11 + Start11
Classic theme seems okay, I guess its more the dropdown button that'd need tweaked <img src="data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAABToAAABzCAYAAAC4u73OAAAAAXNSR0IArs4c6QAAAARnQU1BAACxjwv8YQUAAAAJcEhZcwAADsMAAA7DAcdvqGQAAP+lSURBVHhe3P0L2K7bVRYGz/Wttfb5lJ0DZOdIEiAEgoLophKsiAGRIlJx+yOtiKBJqyg1qFSp0harbUGr/NoKxHiochlbBRT5C1paECQQMAoGCREDIYkJQg47yT6s03/f9
It's not THAT bad? Some skins seem okay, while some have more issues
So it was discovered that ExplorerFrame on Windows 11 22H2 could be replaced with the one from 21H1 BETA, which brings back the windows 10 compact UI Fully. The ONLY THING that breaks with windows blinds 11 is literally just the navigation buttons. I tried WindowsBlinds10, and believe it or not, they worked perfectly. Besides text being Transparent, and I know WB11 supports WB10 as well. Now I know this isnt reccomended in doing, but is there any way to change the UI? Or
Please add the option to decrease the taskbar height. From 48 (windows 11 default) to 40px (Windows 10-before) so windows blinds 11 themes work properly. I tried the "vertically center the taskbar buttons" option, did nothing. Resizing the taskbar does opposite of what I want, I don't want it bigger. and I Don't wanna change the size to small, I just wanna decrease the height so the buttons fit properly.<img src="https://cdn.stardock.us/forums/67/5/6705185/504f29e2-cbe3-45b9-bf31-f3eacac060be
Basically a switch for rounded corners, an implimentation of rounded corners for Windows 10/disabling Rounded corners for Windows 11. This way skins that are made can easilly be turned into rounded or not without the complications of faking the rounded corners especially since the bottom of windows cant get rounded
Is it glitched? I did a Windows 10 VM + WB10 just to see if I was right and the sliders are there? But they aren't present on Windows Blinds 11
Is there anyway to disable taskbar button animation? What I mean by this is (on Windows 10) when hovering a taskbar button, the way it fades to the highlight? For an example the Windows XP/Vista theme doesn't fade into the highlight, it just switches to the button. I see an option to control the fade in and out,, but checking it does nothing, doesn't bring up a slider or anything. I might be wrong but I do think Windows Blinds 10 DID give a slider? There isnt an option for it in skin st
Any plans for the option to decrease the taskbar size? I don't mean smaller Icons, I meant to atleast fit the taskbar buttons properly? I have the option to visually center the taskbarbuttons on aswell but same difference. That extra space under the buttons seems unnessecary, so the option to decrease the taskbar pixels would be great! OS: Windows 11 22H2 Start11 11.14 beta (for the edited pic, I just removed the last few pixels in gimp to simulate the cha
Download and install either WindHawk or Explorer Patcher as of right now, those are the only two solutions to restore the right click menu in Windows 11
That's really unfortunate. I was making this Windows 11 skin for WindowsBlinds 11 for those who couldn't upgrade to Windows 11, and or cannot afford another computer to upgrade. I appreciate all that stardock is done, but maybe in a future update to SkinStudio they can add support for that, so it's not so limited. I couldn't figure out the borders for the life of me either, and most sections don't have a preview of what they're for either, it was kinda like a guessing game. Hopefully in a fut
thank you, though the glyph is literally the only one I can't find
(Sorry, my bad!)
I've been trying to figure this out for along time, but in This PC folder, where is that glyph/button located? I feel I searched everywhere but can't find it. I'm sure its in a very obvious place (If you're curious, i'm making a Windows 11 skin for Windows 10)
Yeah that fixed it! I had it off because it was making my pages flash black screens, so I guess either way I can't win lol now I just have skinning issues
