I hate activations in Stardock products (specially on Week-end) :( :( :(

So there's someone to put 3.99.144 on SDC but not to correct my activations count ? :( :(
Anyone from Stardock over there ? :SNIFF!:
Up Up :p
... and as it not enough to get a wrong IconPackager installation, ODNT tells me "excessive activation have been reached ..." :( here's the mail i send to support @ stardock: [copy ON] Hi there, Again, i've got a message "maximum activation reached" or something like that when trying to install a correct version of IconPackager (Note that IP V 3.99.143 is still with the old graphic interface and that previous version in new one does not allow me to cha
tho the interface is from the old build..
It's been since the latest version is out i'm telling about that point (and it's not only with vista X64, it's the same on XP ... :NOTSURE: ) and no one seems to care of that ... :(
... and now, with latest version on SDC V 3.99.143(which seems to don't be a beta one ...) it's impossible to get the new interface even after uninstalling the previous version, reboot twice etc ... It just seems to keep the old version installed ... N.B: before uninstalling old version i switched back language from french to defaut and applied ... after reboots, installing 3.99.143, i get as well old interface and also directly french language ... What's up with IP ?? :NOT
So , i just updated Iconpackager through SDC, Now Im back to the old Interface , Was Sup
Same here (version 3.99.143), and even after uninstall previous version , reboot etc ... still the old UI ... Really wonder what's wrong with IP ... :(
Well, just launched Stardock Central and so what ? :NOTSURE:
Wonder to know if languages are ok in build 3.99.143 ?
double post :NOTSURE:
I think we misunderstand: i have uninstalled previous version ... Since the 3.99 betas are out, the languages files are installed with. Though you think the developers have kept all the language files of previous 3.20 version and put them in the 3.99 betas ? :SURPRISED:
From what I have heard, this results from using large fonts... which causes the "More Programs" button to display too far to the right. How do I move it back to the left without going back to small fonts? Somewhere on WinCustomize.com the answer has already been posted, but I can't seem to find it again. Here's a link to an image illustrating the problem:
In SkinStudio 5, you have to go to section Start Panel / More Programs Panel / Background and then in "Content margin
Should it be too much that even in betas, the versions will apply correctly the language selected ? I really wonder to understand what's wrong with it ... everything is there: the languages files, the option to choose language and when choosing (any language in fact) it's running in english ... :(
:NOTSURE: Perhaps there's too much categories ? I also find the whole "forums" section very unsuable A few days ago i wanted to find back something i had read, but was unable to find it :NOTSURE: ... I tried the "search" box and i was disapointed to see it was a google search and not limited to Wincustomize forums ... Well i've not THE solution, but there's surely something to do over there ;)
With the recent return of APB maybe there's going to be a renesaunce reinasaunce awakening of skinners from the past.
The question is: why did they leave ... :HOT:
 I was talking for Neutronium DM on XP SP2 home Edition (and not with a regional dialect :HOT: ) I did that [link="https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=6231&libid=13"]WWW Link[/link] a few years ago for french specificities :p the -110 value i gave at this time was when toppanel where standardly width sized to 380 and both Program List and Places to 190 ...
He's fairly right because -90 works on normal state button but not on mouseover ... ;)
73 worked on English and hingarian...had to use -90 on French. (for NLL)
Nope, -99 for french :p (it's usually -30 less that the original version for french ...)
One think i'd like to be pointed out is if all those programs will have skins stored the same way as WB6 skins in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Stardock or if there will be a possibility to leave them elsewhere (on a second partition for example ... ) If everything will have to be on C:\ i think i will personally give up with stardock ...
Anyway Neil, the background feature is great to see back, the only trouble as mentionned, is if the right right part of explorer is "background skinned" then there's a glitch with special images ... Should an option to set this particular part as special be possible ? ==> some ideas: - to set it unskinned ? - to set it with the current skin defaut background colour of special images ?
Special note for Stardock development team: I know latest WB 6.09.e .b.126 is for Vista but see what it makes on XP (without any changing on settings ...): 1°) with WB 6.09.c.b.118 2°) with WB 6.09.c.b.126 <img src="http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/9688/wb609eb126
Still on 6 here...7 looks like vista.
same  the 2 posts just above are errors :SURPRISED:
Yep, IE8 seems to 'jerk around' with the forums layout etc. This problem is not repeated in either the IE7 emulation mode or FF2.
same
