Constructors/Starbases are killing my enthusiasm for this game in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I was playing this game at a friend's house, and while I enjoyed the first hour or two of each game, managing the constructors/starbases became so tedious that I could never finish a game. I really want to buy and play this game, so I'm hoping that perhaps I was playing the 'wrong' way. Basically, other than building military ships when I need them, all my planets are constantly building constructors. So I'm getting a constant huge stream of new constructors to manage every single tur
