Hell, I'm almost from Texas (Louisiana). I can't believe I just said that I was almost from Texas...

They talked about it on TechTV a while back... changing the registry shoulda worked. But I dunno if WB screws the tooltips up or not. Did you try checking if the tooltips come up outside of WB?
2 years on windows 95, but it would have been longer if I hadn't had to delete so much crap from my (3 GB) hard disk. Been running XP Home since Christmas...no problems so far.
I know not with what weapons World War 3 will be fought. World War 4, however, will be fought with sticks and stones. (I hope it makes sense to you)
What it comes down to, in the end, is the maturity and sense of right and wrong of the person, IMHO. You're right, most of the people who download are younger. Using P2P networks to download music is (basically) an easy version of shoplifting music. Older people are likely to care a lot more about the fact that it is illegal...but at the moment, the RIAA is going after the networks and 1 or 2 of the actual users. Also, the people they DO go after are just examples. I believe it is known to most
Ok, first... if I remember correctly, the Mac service let you also download the whole CD for a little less. For me, that's perfect. I would rather download an entire CD legally than try to find the tracks illegally. It takes a lot of the inconvenience out of buying CDs. Now, this is obviously only for people who place laws above...well...free music. For the rest of the world, I doubt the government will ever be able to SHUT DOWN all the P2P services. They may start finding ways to track download
You ppl need an IRC channel... chatting back and forth in forums is weird. Cool site, but i still dont have any idea where to start a skin... lol
Ah, I figured as much. I'll be sure to go ahead and make an account.
1) Wow that was fast... and 2) Is it just me or is that site virtually empty?
Oh, another question: Will skinning Windows affect applications that run full-screen (like games)? And will it slow my computer's performance. I have a 2.4 GHz processor and 512 megs of RAM, so i would hope not.
Ok people, I just got into skinning my desktop after frustrations with the XP style's lack of customization. Self-taught in HTML and Paint Shop Pro. Anyways, back to the actual point of this post: I understand the overall function of Skin Studio, and the individual pieces dont seem THAT complicated (it's just the sheere mass of separate images and attributes that have to be set). I'm kinda curious where you guys would recommend I start. Thinking of ideas has never been a problem for me,
