I'm asking for a way to automatically only hide fences and not icons. I have a lot of icons on my desktop, which would have to be selected one-by-one for exclusion, and icons come and go from my desktop all the time and it'd be impossible to keep up with. If I could just check a box that said "Hide fences only," that would help me enjoy this program quite a bit more.

I'm guessing since I haven't gotten any replies yet, there's no way to do this. So I suppose this is now a feature request. I would really appreciate this ability.
I've got a few folder portals on my desktop, most of which are fine to be sorted alphabetically. One, however, I would like to sort by date. And I was able to change the sorting to date once, but minutes later, it refreshed itself, and went back to alphabetical sorting, and now it's impossible to change it. No matter what sorting method I click, it does nothing. The sorting cannot be changed anymore. Several restarts later, it still can't be changed. The sorting is just permanentl
I know that on an icon-by-icon basis, you can tell Fences to not quick-hide certain icons. But as icons come and go from my desktop, that's not something I'll ever keep up with. So, is there a quick way to set up Fences such that quick-hide will hide only the fences and leave the desktop icons visible? Thanks!
